So, until just now when the patcher downloaded what I can only assume was a small update, the game has worked fine. But now every time I click Start in the patcher it gives me a ragexe.exe has stopped working error. Ideas?

Well maintenance is going on right now, so until you get the rest of the patch its probably not going to work.
