I wish I had the dilemma of too many good skills and not enough points.
Actual answer-- no!

Hanlon's razor. And what you could see there was that they intentionally lowered the job exp for monsters >95 at one time. Someone at kRO sadistic much?

I completely agree at this point with job 50 - having good skills to choose from and actually having to make tough decisions is a sign that it was the right choice for the sura class. I also agree that some other classes could benefit from some skill tweaking so they have the same issue.

Because they sell more Neuralizers this way. It seems almost all motivation for development or support in this game stems back to "How can we sell more Kafra points"
Simple solution would be to think of what you're going to do before you do it. Research! Ask around!

Job 50 is literally the only thing keeping Sura's from being completely overpowered.

Trans classes are better than 3rd classes at forging and potting, and benefit more from items that give bonuses depending on job level. For these purposes, 3rd class job levels should be worth 1.5 regular job levels.. or something.
What they should do is just change the formula from (Job Level * 0.2) to (Base Level * 0.1). This would mean that Biochems are still better than Alchemists at 99 (more stat points and better gear), and Geneticists are better than Biochems (level and more stat points). Seems like a no brainer.

Suits me. Pretty big nerf to all the current potters though, and there's still the matter of job-level-based gear. What they should do is just change the formula from (Job Level * 0.2) to (Base Level * 0.1). This would mean that Biochems are still better than Alchemists at 99 (more stat points and better gear), and Geneticists are better than Biochems (level and more stat points). Build type: Supporter, but able to attack. Well, the job 70 would be someway delicious to me.
Anyways, I could change some stuff. Maybe exchanging some levels at Symphony and Despair to max Destruction or Valley... But yeah. I don't really need the 70 job points, I think I can make it with 50 very well.
[Note: Between the six chorus skills listed, the only one I would really keep on my job 50 build is... DANCING TO TEH FEVA! (And all the prereqs for it)]
And yes. I think it's pointless to have job 70, even some jobs having very huge skill trees. But you know. There is stuff which uses the job level as a "weapon". [Valk shoes, ifrit card... Some other big amount of gears... And so on...]
Well... They should also change the job system to making something like: job * 0.1 for second classes | Job * 0.2 (or 0.15) for transclasses | Job * 0.3 for third classes in the formulas o:
