Filled in the application. Now I'm a full time student and work minimum wage of $8/hr. You'd think they'll be smart enough and give me a credit line of 300$.
NOPE they gave me a 3000$ credit line, when they WELL know that I CANNOT afford it.
Thank god I took a course in credit management. And I very well know how to keep a good credit. At least I got 5000 WP.
Heres proof
Now I just feel bad for the people who have no idea how to manage their credit. To offer credit cards to teenagers on a MMO is very smart business wise, but just a tad bit unethical.

Obviously the first thing you should do is buy $3000 worth of WPE.
Soo many lucky boxes, what happens if I don't get a single sloted glasses?
lol, seriously, imagine being in the whole 3000$ all because you spent it all on WPE.

You get a second credit card with a credit margin twice as big, duh.

Thus you get points for doing something that you would likely want to do anyway.

How long did it take them to credit you the WP? I just completed this offer yesterday, approved for a credit card today (My second-- I hear keeping two or three under good maintenance builds great credit) but nada on the WP. It says instant upon approval-- was it for you?
My application was approved on the 14th and I got my WP today. Look at the screenie
@evil You need to have been approved.

wow i agree 100%. Ive always used a credit debit card and never touched a credit card. Ironic how debt and loans are on TV right now and people are choosing lower level colleges because they dont want to be in debt for the next 25 years ;___;

Huh for some reason the highest offer I see atm is for 2,760 points at the bottom of the first page. "Don't Waste Your Money - Use it to Upgrade PC Performance"
Also another 2 or so that give around 1300 WP but require purchases as well.
Top Offer on page is to watch a video clip for like 4 stupid points.

CC companies don't make most of their profits from people who pay off their balance every month.

They gave you $3000 exactly BECAUSE they know you can't afford to use it.

Well I know that.
But the thing is, I opened up a capital one credit card 3 years ago. Was my 1st card and gave me 300$ credit line. This is why I am so suprised when Discover gave me a 3000$ credit line.

For what it's worth, I've had a credit card for 3 years with a credit line of $1750, and Discover gave me a $500 credit line upon my approval just today. I make very little income at the moment though, so perhaps that's why.Well I know that.

Yeah but I only make 8.14 a hour. But maybe that's because my household income is $120k+??

Capital One is very stingy on their credit cards. They gave me $500 initially, which was gradually raised to I think $1750 now. My other credit card gives me $6000. Granted, the $6000 one is from my bank, so they have a better idea of how much money I have, but $1750 vs $6000 is still a rather enormous gap even accounting for that.
