Hello, I'm a returning player from many MANY years ago. I've been leveling my assassin for a week now, and I expect to transcend today. I've been looking all over the internet for advice on what direction to take my sinx when I do level up again. However, there seems to be a significantly smaller amount of theorycrafters gathering in one point these days. Like back in the glory days of roempire.

I built my assassin as a DD and spent alot of time and money getting him a decent arsenal. With all the mixed up information out there from pre/post renewal, I just have some questions to clarify.

My play style: I'm all about leveling up as quickly as possible and looking at getting into WoE seriously in the late 90's or after I go 3rd class. Not too interested in MVP at this point.

1. DD sinx and GX. Does this work? It seems sinx damage is mostly centered around SB. Many of the forums I find are either pre-renewal, or they say crit is a better way to go. I'd prefer to stay DD, but I don't want to gimp myself if it is not appropriate anymore.

2. Carded daggers? What are the preferred weapons of choice these days? Way back in the day I used an elemental main hand and a quad carded MG in offhand. Is it better to use a tripple carded (race damage) main hand, a quad carded (size damage) off hand, and an endow or poison?

3. I won't ask for a build, I enjoy calculating those on my own. I do want to know, though, what are the multiples of stats we should look into now? I just read they took away the bonus for +10 strength. What are break points for Sinx for str, agi, etc.

4. What is the preferred statcalc these days?

Thank you all for your time, and thank you in advance for any responses. So far it's great to be back!

I am going to answer these in an order I find easiest.

4. None really has been revamped enough for renewal that I know of to give any accurate info. The best they can do is help you plan your stats so you have no left over points really.

3. There are really no "break points" really anymore for the stats either really other than really basic stuff like 3 Magic Attack for every 2 Int (it's really 1 Int = 1.5 MAtk). Mainly keep str/Int in multiples of 2, Dex in mult of 5, Agi/Vit 5, and Luk is odd but multiples of 30 I would say to get full benefit.

2. For weapons it really just depends on your budget. Myself my SinX uses mainly +7 Triple Size Carded Gladius + 2/2 +7-10 Carded MG's if possible (sometimes just quad carded though). If you have the money ounce you are a SinX you can upgrade the Gladius [3]'s to Scalpel [3]'s and the MG [4]'s to SandStorm [4]'s (no reason for the MG's to be replaced unless your a perfectionist but Scalpels are quite a bit better with 15 more attack and being a lvl 4 weapon as well + bleeding chance). And a Elemental Endow to this setup and your good to go. However if you are going to be needing to switch elements regularly in the same place then VVS Element Damascus would be better.

1. Just remember that EDP works on any weapon. I to prefer DD to Katar mainly because SB costs so much sp and Katars are relatively week now with no real Str Bonus to damage and with Critical hits being so changed. Also there are only Katar only skills for the GX, Rolling Cutter and Cross Ripper Slasher all the others should be usable with either.

Thank you very much! This is exactly the information I needed. I think I'll go for size carded Scalpels since I had no carded gladii to begin with, only VVS elementals.

One more thing, What are the kind of cards you need for WoE? Demihuman? Thank you again.

If you wanna woe then i guess crit`s the way to go.
If u see most gx high lvled or those who woe they are all more or less crit cuz right now....classes hav so much hp and skillz that own so bad that u`d be dead in 1 hit..
Nearly all classes hav a good amount of flee and since crits dont miss u can stop em with crit lock while dishing damage

For me, getting a hold of a +7 Leo Crown and a +10 Quadruple Aural Critical Jur made leveling a cake walk up to level 100 or so and 3rd class. After that it was tougher though and did the bulk of my leveling during events in-game. I am a max AGI type GX now with critical being my main damage attack.

Not really sure about the +7 Leo but the Headgear of choice for me are the +7 Aqua Crown/Diadem, I currently use a +7 Aqua Crown (Diadem gives exactly the same boosts) on pretty much all my chars but casters.
