The npc specifically said that because you're VIP it's free? I remember Heim saying that VIP doesn't influence transing...?

yea transing always has the donation part to it. That never changed even with the introduction of VIP. I think you dont need reset stone for 3rd class if you are VIP if im not mistaken.

I was thinking about this. Transing should be free to those on VIP. SInce it is so damn easy to make it to 99 now with VIP that i doubt a lot of people would have over a million zenny by the time they made it.

Edit: This may also give them the greater deterrent from going third class before they trans, because going third class is free with VIP.

The NPC specifically stated that the fee is waved for VIP. I would have screenshotted it I knew the douche was gonna charge me.

a reset stone /VIP only applies....if turning to 3rd Job

Interesting - sounds like an unsuccessful attempt was made to make it free for VIP.

I do not support waiving the donation requirement, for anyone. It's only 1.285m zeny. You should have no trouble scraping that much cash together by the time you hit 99, even if you spend stuff on gear. It's really not much zeny....

I thought by "free" it was meant no reset stone was required, as VIP was based around being the older version of the game except without introduced limitations, from the way I understood it.

Getting away without paying for trans was fixed a long time ago.

you probably misread "free" with "fee"

1,285,000 isn't that hard of a mount to make as long as you pick up loot and oc it. i can probably go through the junk in my storage again and make a mil just off that.

Rebirth doesn't consume Reset Stone. This is only for changing into third job for non-vip accounts.

I'd like a clear answer on this also. I trans'ed 2 of my characters yesterday and I had to pay the fee. The thing is this pops up:

Right after he ask you to donate (after you pressed "Donate"). Maybe I missed something? *I'm VIP account*

Yeah, I'm not saying I support removing the fee, but the NPC does say it will be waived - I got the notice when my monk became a High Aco today, and he still took my money.

A friend of mine who owns a non-vip account just got a free rebirth. Apparently, the npc is giving free rebirths to non-vip players and paid rebirth to vip players. It's reversed.

Yeah, I trans'd my dancer a few weeks ago, but I didn't think anything of it, since that's the way it's always been. Would be nice if it were free and I were 1mil richer though.

First i was too lazy to read all replys, skiped after azzys first reply.

Second rebirth donation npc tells he will refund the donation to vips, so he still requires you to get the 1.285000 zeny, but you will get them back after doing it, problem is it seems to be reversed, i did rebirth walktrought whit a friend today i on my knight non vip a-_- he on his falconer vip acount, i got the zeny back as non vip, he got 0 zeny....

Im already trying to send in a ticket, but firefox seems to be very bad in ticket sendings as every time, i would really love to sy iro gravity improve performance of sending tickets.
