lol so, i have a question about this skill.

if i missed learning it at novice, is it impossible to obtain unless i rebirth?

You'll lose the skill anyway once you change to anything from Novice.. it's only usable by Novices/High Novices.

It was mostly a throwback to the days of when it took a few hours to get a novice to 1st job. It gave you something silly to play with until you got a real class.

On anything but a novice, it would be ridiculously overpowered - it discards ALL aggro.

Just be careful. I heard that in renewal, casting Play Dead actually causes you to lose 1% exp, similar to an actual death.

You can still cast the skill by going through a portal and casting it. Portal Deading is what we call it on vent.

Punishment must be cheating then, I thought you lose play dead when you change class from novice. They portal dead all the time.
