I continue to run into this monster called Shadow of Illusions. I estimate it has about 240k HP, gives no EXP.

Anyone know if it's part of a quest?

Part of the Shadow Chaser job change quest. One in Turtle Island level 2 (Wind Ghost sprite), Ice Dungeon level 2 (Skogul sprite) and Niffelheim town ( Succubus sprite ). Pretty annoying since they are instant spawn even if no one is doing the quest and makes leveling on those maps a pain. The map one west of New World camp also has quest monsters for Warlock job change.

They should really change it so they are only aggressive to people doing the quests. The SC quest monsters are fairly difficult and the Naga/BradiumGolem in the New World shouldn't be on that fairly low lvl map. I've only leveled there a few times because they make things a pain

yeah, they are a pain. althought they miss me 95% of the time, still bothersome =.=

I think their stats are the same as their sprite monster, but they just have tons more hp.
