Lmao this isnt old Rose where skills work regardless of weapon o.o 2nd class won't work. Hawker Melee with Bow tree is possible but not second.

haha, after december 23rd when the big Rose changes started it is better to use skills then melee targets.

Melee refers to normal attacks, and not physical close combat hits(which is what you're saying) or skills or whatnot. So, in this case, it refers to just shooting arrows.

Yeah I figured that is what he was refering to as well - but coming from other games where they distinguish between "ranged" and "melee" characters - it can be a bit confusing for some to call it that.

The problem with this build is going to most likely be accuracy. The normal attacks may come out faster than you can get multiple skills off, but the problem is that they can miss - and with the current system will miss quite a bit.

Also like someone mentioned - with the new system, skill damage is increased so it's for the most part more effective to use skills - and with reliable skills you know you will always do at least some damage.

The only class this works ok on is the bourg - because you can max your accuracy with out compromising your attack power with your stats because con is your main stat for attack power.

My definition of Melee is close hand-to-hand combat ... a melee scout would be very ambitious, a failed experiment imo... then again we dont know what his definition of melee is =S... still waiting for this guide... hope it gives me a laugh of some kind ^^
