Hope that helps.You will most likely succeed in installing R.O.S.E. Online if you move your Gravity folder [[ C:\Program Files\Gravity ]] which includes your ROSE Online folder onto your desktop. Install ROSE using the ROSE Installer to that folder--that is now on your desktop--and see if it installs correctly. With the folder still on your desktop, run the client to see if you need any patches. If everything is successful, you may attempt to move the Gravity folder back to your [[ C:\Program Files\ ]] directory.
If the problem happens once again, please simply move the Gravity folder back onto your desktop and keep it there for further use. You may attempt other ways to fix this, but this seems to be the most successful. Why? Because the [[ C:\ ]] directory is used for your system files as well, and your computer protects this drive on default. Running a patcher usually does not have the correct privileges to enable patching, so patches only work whenever the folder is moved onto the Desktop or another area which is a neutral location.

I am having this same error. I tried downloading the game tonight, and when I went to Play it I received the same error.
Has anyone had any luck fixing it?
I had same problem (Windows XP). Only solution seems to be using Genpatch launcher
I didnot manage to Rose running with official launcher (tried on 2 different machines - both XP).
I am not sure about Windows Vista/7, but in XP it crashes on start.

Couldn't we just replace the faulty dll? It takes a while to download another client.try this one its just been upgraded to the newest version or the last one

i have three copies of a "good" client so i never have to re download anything i just replace the part that's "broken" and it works fine.

Alright, thanks.could do that as well that was just another option for a download since the others didn't want to work, id recommend at least trying this one first though just on the off chance cause im not sure where your going to get a replacement dll.

I'm on Win7 and it bugs too. I'll tell you what I did if I make it work.i have the same problem and i have wikndows xp

then click settings
then tools and check all is a manual patching button

I run Windows7 and was having this problem yesterday. I gave up after a while though.
Today, I ran the new genpatch and this one worked for me.

You may be able to go into your firewall and unblock ROSEOnline or if that doesn't work try moving it to the desktop (the whole folder)guys now if i wanna instal it it blockes instant
