Before the supposed buffs to Mvps next week I want to add my 2cents.

No dout next weeks buffs will basically be 'increase hit, flee, hp and give them another screen wide earthquake and coma like ability in most cases'. This is just rubbish, it basically promotes Asura fwing mvping. All this does is make the Monk class have to run away and refill sp a couple of extra times.

Now i remember at the start of RO when mvps had some vunerabilites and I think they should be brought back.

Fair enough make some of the mvps abilites 1 shot people but at least give those skills a cast time which can be spell breakered or a hidden from to avoid. If an mvp uses an enrage why not let it be dispelled or Agi Down stop it. Lets the mob recall/summon be 2minutes so mob training/killing can be used and agi chars stand a chance to tank. These things dont make mvping easy they make it require more than a 200,000 dps a second skill.

Give us MVP's who can "Change to Ghost Property." Then we'll see Suras try to GFist them to death. :3 Actually, that's what makes RK's the one of the best classes to use for killing Beelz/Gloom/ESL. Ifrit would definitely be tougher if he could pull off that trick. xD It'd call for a change of strategy every so often, which would require different classes to handle the situation instead of letting a single Sura/Genetic do all the work of killing said Ifrit. That's only an example of what would force players to party up for an MVP though.

I like the fact that some MVP's have certain AI patterns that the player must learn in order to beat them correctly. More of that would be welcome in a lot of MVPs

At the same time, the issue is that there have to be some weaker MVP's for budding MVP hunters to sharpen their claws on. Not all MVP's can be at the level of Ifrit or Beez, and for that reason we will always have high-level players coming in and easily defeating the low-tier MVP's before weaker characters can take a shot at them.

I don't think that Phreeoni and Maya were ever intended to be hunted by lv 150 suras who can kill them in one Gfist. Those MVPs feel as though they exist for intrepid 101-120 range characters to gather a party and tackle as their first real MVP challenge.

I feel a buff will only hurt the average, lower level player and the high level "elite" among us, the ones who already have no issue killing these MVPs and successfully beating out the competition, won't really be affected.

But isn't that how most changes go?
