I am playing a PVM Sura and yea, theres 2xp EXP event and the long delay is lame. . . /pif

Look how horrible the after-cast delay is before you use with another skill... /sigh

Yup, totally uncalled for. I don't see how they can justify any of these roulette style changes.

Wow...Zen? Really? Meanwhile Howling of Mandragora still has no fixed portion cast, and such a change wouldn't hurt their ability to level. Zen already has a fixed portion cast. :S A skill like that doesn't need 2 sources of delay on it. Honestly.

Try not snapping to gather mobs and finishing them off with 15 spirit spheres. You'll find it works quite well.

not the only time they make a stupid decision, but yea..this one is pretty effed up. tried leveling with this nerf, just not going to work.

I wish to apply for hitting gravity in the face for stupidity and dumb ass thinking, this zen nerf fix any of the problems just make level more difficult and and causes problems

Zen aftercast delay is fine....
if only..... MOST of my sura skill didnt need damn spheres
this is the dumbest "improvement" to the game ever. its not like every sura in the game has +9 kvm fist.. y didnt they just nerf the kvm fist a little. its not zen that is overpowered..

I am leveling using GT-Gain x Lightning Ride x Sky Blow combo and re-casting Zen in the middle of mobs for Fury (So I can Snap freely w/o spending a sphere, mob and hit first with LR), and yea re-casting Zen, run/escape w/Snap after w/the long delay in mobby situations is deadlier than before. Things like this randomly occur for changes w/o even consulting the community, really this sucks... /e5

I am a lvl 103/ job 13 sura. I was using LR>ZEN>LR method for mobbing wolves. I went through using little pots to running out of sp and pots really quickly. I understand if they want to nerf zen in WoE or something but please don't make the low lvl sura suffer.

This "test" nerf zen for this week is effing stupid...why not do this "test" of yours next week when there is no exp event. That way suras don't have to be left out on your exp event. as we speak, time is passing by :wink:

Why don't they just revert the fixed cast time for zen back to the Original instead of messing with cast delay that affects so many other things?

Issue with fixed cast time is the KVM item bypasses it..

You have at least 3 means of getting spheres,

How would it be: better or worse, to have an after cast on snap?

Howling of Mandragora having no fixed portion cast or much delay says, "Hi" and that skill messes up everyone in WoE, I think the better approach would have been something to GoH, from what I heard they don't have the skill till they are high level anyway so a nerf to GoH is less likely to affect their leveling. I don't think that Zen delay was necessary, and I don't even play one.

Yes, I do think Suras can be OP in WoE but no reason to hamper them in this unneeded way in PvM.

How about you just nerf KvM Fists to remove 80% of fixed cast time instead of 100%, and we can all be happy.


And no to nerfing snap. Instead, nerf fury. Snap requires fury to be effective, and putting a delay on fury would make it have a lot less impact on PvM, but a bigger impact in WoE.

Fury is required for Gfist, snapping without using spheres, and a is also a requirement for other skills. I say give fury a delay instead of snap/zen, which will probably make sura's a lot more balanced.

I think ur doing a wrong kind of nerfing here Heim. Cursed Circle is the only skill needs to be nerf. Coz its disabled anyone (AoE) on battle. Cursed Circle + GFist = epicness sure WIN.

Its still on you.. But if u put after cast delay on snap, can we change our Guild Recaller without remaking the guild?

I would understand it more than a zen cast delay if back slide(if/when its implemented for woe) and front slide got the same treatment. But there's a lot of sura recallers that might disagree.

If it were a choice between one of after cast on snap or after cast on zen, do it on snap.

Remove the delay and give GoH and HoM actual significant fixed portion cast like the rest of us have..Problem solved.
