1 point in VT is enuff, the 'power' comes from its aoe dna. What if I max DNA for AOE VT, cooldown, casting time... Is VT @lvl 1 and @lvl 10 have big difference in amount of heal you receive? or just 123+ HP heals base on what it describes... Cause idk if i will invest my points for VT. Thanks

depends on the calculation between your magig dmg, curse dmg, int/SCAD and your oponents Curse Resistence
you should have a look at http://requiem-wiki.org/wiki/Stats

that said, VT definitely doesnt need that many pts. just needs AOE and some in faster casting time.

Bob is right. With my defiler i use Instant cast VT and lvl 6 dna for aoe. makes surviving waaay easier. But for my dominator i dont make the heal instant because ennon is a loyal minion and heals quite often. So i make the cast around 1 sec long instead of instant for her. But i would still max the aoe dna , cus domis dont have many aoes. Bring down the downtime too, if thats your thing.
In a pvp context the AoE VT isn't worth the skill points. I don't have any points into it at all. I have Instant cast VT and max Shadow Bind the rest in lowering VT cool down. I also put 10 skill points into VT itself. I've found that in a pvp situation, if you don't max out your CC skills, VT won't save you AE or not.
Also, a pve example: If you are in Treasure dungeon, you VT and agro 15 mobs that you can't handle because you don't have Terms of Service. Makes dungeon farming in general a real pita...
