So I finally hit 99 on my Sin-X today and was reading through one of the job change guides for GX and wow.. How stupid is this quest chain? I understand talking and killing to the many NPC's but I am truly angered at the random wait times to do stuff. Theres 2 wait times.. one of them is 1 hour, and another 3 hours.. Why do I randomly have to wait for 3 hours to do something in the quest chain? It is very stupid. Forum people get mad at me if you want, but I've been playing RO for over 8 years now, and this is by far one of the most annoying Job change quests since becoming a Sage back in the day. I'm sorry but I am truly angered at this 4 hours of waiting for nothing.. Please PLEASE try to do something about this........

The quest is ridiculous. But then again, the class is generally ridiculous considering their leveling speed compared to others. A lot needs to change, fortunately their leveling skills are being revamped some time in the future.

Of all the things to complain about with GX, I don't think the job change ranks very high. It takes a while, but it isn't particularly difficult at least. Plus you get Pope Cookies. I don't think most people just sit there and watch the screen the entire time.

You can log out, you know. There are lots of ways to fill 4 hours. Watch a movie or some tv, read a book, make dinner, have a bubble bath, clean out your fridge, play on another character...

At least that's 4 hours of you being able to do something else. If you want a long quest, try Shadow Chaser's without a guide.

^^ you could level the class your actually going to play as 3rd while waiting to change to GX. Dont get me wrong tho, I love my purple cactus sprite.

I thought the the quest and it's story was rather entertaining. For me, the delays were a perfect time to go do something else.

If you don't like long waits then you shouldn't do the president's quest or the sign quest.

The time wait goes with the story of the quest. The first time wait I believe is for the girl to show up at the meeting time and the second time wait is to wait for nightfall to strike at this mansion.

I think the Pope Cookies are spiffy, I love how they look!

As far as time waits are concerned, the Sign Quest was annoying, but felt rewarding after I finished it!

Nah, Genetic got the easiest quest. It all takes place inside the same house and the only things you gotta kill are 100 Poison Spores in a cage.

RG is ridiculously easy too. Get 100 Burning Hearts then go to GH twice.

At first, I thought Wanderers got it pretty bad but Locks Job Change top it all.

Patience is a virtue that is required by a Guillotine cross. You need to learn to wait in the shadows and strike at the right moment. If you feel otherwise perhaps GX is not the right class for you. Even tough the job change is one of the longest. I feel its worth it if ur dedicated to the class. For everyone complaining about GX lvlin being slow, it comes with your class. Atleast till u hit the 120 mark, lvlin will be painful,its a breeze after that.

I actually enjoyed the GX job change...wait time and all. Based on the short story around the quest it did make sense. The GX should have more assassination quests like this. Even building on that, each class should be able to get a quest or two that has to do with their class. GX get assassination or info gathering quests, RG's get holy quests, etc etc.

I'm currently doing this on my Sin X. I failed catching Estillda 10+ times even with Cloaking on. Higher chance my ***!!! >_<

I was impatient, too, because I was so happy to become 3rd Cls (my first), but the story is great and even though the waiting time was annoying (watched movies btw), it was forgotten afterwards. It's not so bad, really.
In the end, Arc Bishop Quest was far more annoying for me, just for the simple fact that it was buggy as hell yesterday...
My Valk never died, I never died, but the part failed several times for no real reason... <.<
You have to run from one point to the other really fast, hoping not to get annoyed by the monsters too much, kill the monsters that belong to the quest (the valks), mostly on your own because your Merc doesn't do anything good and hope that you reach the last valk without dying and find out that you can only speak to her, if you click on a little spot on the GROUND in time. If you're just a bit late - you got warped out and can try it again.
THIS is annoying...
GX is a joke against that ;D

The arc bishop quest was so annoying the first day of renewal cause everyone and their mom was there and it would only do one person at a time and it would screw up too and the poor GM had to help a lot too D:
