first of all, lol @ most comments here.

1. Don't assume I hit 99/70 within a short amount of time. It took me one month plus with VIP account to achieve this. I work, and only get maybe 3 hours playtime per day for 4 days a week.

2. Sure I ain't rich. I only have about 8 mil saved up. And I aint spending it. Im saving for 4x hunterfly MG for after I turn SC. sure I can break the rules and probably buy a crapload of gold and deck my character out since PVM is just buy to win, but Im not going to do that because it defeats the whole purpose and would probably earn me the ban hammer.

3. Holding hands? Did i really ask for ingame help? I simply asked am I suppose to be able to do 3rd job quest with eden gears. and i only got one straightforward answer from morphine, so thanks for that.

4. Why don't I join a guild? I don't want to join a guild just to get help. I don't want to get tied down to something like "must attend WOE's and all that bull crap." And it doesnt sit right with me to just get help and leave the guild either. I've played games for 15+ years and I've always loved to play in a tightly knit group. So I am not just going to join a random guild.

5. I don't know if I am "ready" for 3rd class or not. I was planning on becoming 3rd, get 5 job levels for fire trap, then farm until i can afford leveling gears.

6. I dont know if that low IQ comment was directed at me. but I lol @ you for basing anyone's IQ on forum posts. What? just because I didn't post what 3rd I am changing into, I am stupid? So I forgot... sue me? I dont give a crap about punctuation and grammar online either if you are going to use that argument against me (since yours isnt much better either). I can assure you my IQ is not low and I am pretty well off. (well not as much as I would like yet, but in 3 years time when I graduate from dental school)

well as you've all noticed, I dont use quotes so have fun reading this mess.

all in all, forget it. I'll seek help elsewhere. in the end, the RO community isnt as friendly as it touts itself to be.

i just want to clarify that i never assumed anything. i did say that RO has become easier with all the extra stuff (VIP being one). i apologize if you felt that way. and i definitely agree with you on character attacks via posts. i don't support it as well. lastly, it's sad that you thought of RO community that way even if it may be true. i'm sorry if i went off-topic as well. i wish you luck on your job change endeavor. hang on, just keep trying. try different techniques. even if it may seem impossible, you'll never know if you can change to 3rd with just eden gear (or not since you have gakkung). if it would inspire you to know, i did have a hard time on my first 3rd class but eventually got the hang of it. see you around!

On this forum it doesn't seem so because of the replies you got but there are good people here.

If you are a Dagger build then all I can recommend is to use Hide to lure the monsters to secluded areas since the quest monsters are demon and can see you while the other monsters can't. If you are bow Build you should have no trouble doing this quest with hunter traps.

And I read that he has little-to-no AGI, so hiding and walking at the 50% pace will get him killed, unless he has Stealth with Increase AGI buff/equipment then he can out-walk the "Spirits" while no mob can see him...

And I know how time-consuming that 3rd job change quest is >.>
Especially if you don't have Warps to ID3 and Thanatos Tower(?).

Well, all I can say is good luck.

Point is, whatever time it took you, you didn't learn much about the game itself in the process. You breezed through 99/70 easily enough that you apparently:
- didn't feel the need to get better gear
- didn't feel the need to stock on supplies
- didn't experiment having to deal with monsters without being spoon fed the killing method by someone else.
My opinion is that you take things for granted

Allow me to give you an exemple:

2. Sure I ain't rich. I only have about 8 mil saved up. And I aint spending it. Im saving for 4x hunterfly MG for after I turn SC.

Have you considered that maybe you shouldn't save for a 4x hunterfly MG, but make it yourself ? You know, go to maps where HF spawn, and kill them, until the card drops ?

Arguably that's a (very) long shot. So maybe you could start a little easier and hunt for some other gear? You're 99/70 so it's not like you're going to lose experience...

And a second exemple, for good measure:

3. Holding hands? Did i really ask for ingame help? I simply asked am I suppose to be able to do 3rd job quest with eden gears.

The answer is, forgive me, painfully obvious. if you've tried and haven't succeded, then the answer is no. Is it because of your gear, point/click skills, connection speed, or because of the game design does not matter. If you try (repeatedly) and it doesn't work, then it's likely not meant to. Asking whether it is is a waste of everyone's time, and it'd be a lot more constructive to ask:
I want to do <this>, I have tried <that> and it doesn't work, what else should I try.

My advice: play the game ! Forget about leveling. Go vist some maps you've never been to (assuming they're reasonnably within your level range). Do a few quest (the access quests are a good idea, seeing as you won't lose much experience atm), get the thief/rogue quest skills. Learn to play your character by practice (e.g. why is envenom better than a regular attack to spread status effects, how to backslide around corners). Doing so, you're bound to run into a priest class with an hour to kill that'll be willing to help you with your SC test.

More exp event pls.....

Edit: This already had been foreseen by other thread that was talking about this issues of player leveling or reaching End game too fast..long ago when the renewal started...i guess nothing much can be done on this.

I guess when they reach 3rd Job everything will be fine for new player as they can now use 3rd job's OP skill and stuff go take out high lv monster and farm expensive equip..

Zellyen, you been using proper grammar!!! STOP USING IT. :waddle: I am kidding... Most of the RO community assumes the worst and likes to rant about crap. I let others do the talking and just agree or disagree... Eden Gears are not really meant for higher level monsters, so it is safe to say no, maybe farm a little trunk or so to make a few z here and there or other items and just sell in a shop and buy gears that way.
