I think there should be an Un-adoption method because when I tried adopting (after a divource) what happened is that It said I couldn't adopt more than 1 child. That was 2 years ago and there was no way the child could be on. Is there any way you can make an un-adoption method?
EDIT: I had a child before the divource in the game if you haven't figured out.

agreed completely. Even moreso, different parents can adopt kids. or kids can be put back up in an adoption agency of some sort

If you contact the GMs, I think they can help you with this.

The lack of an "unadopt" option is more to prevent exploiting/circumventing the party exp share range, so un-adopting should be more of an exceptional circumstances like where one of the parents is deleted/long gone or something. Ticket system should suffice for that.

Well, we had a problem where we got the wrong characters married, because we were hoping we could have a soul linker child. Apparently, you can't have ANY extended classes as children, which we didn't know until we got married. So not only do we have to un-adopt, we have to get divorced, and we wasted all that zeny...

Yeah true, but it takes weeks and even months til they get around to it. Finally when they do contact you ingame, only to find you vending and asleep in real life, they give up and forget you ever asked. Then you'd stop caring after all those months. True story. =[

Send a ticket into the gms.

There is a method to it and need to follow the guidelines, but it's possible. I got an "abortion" on my Ab just recently. I had adopted back in 2005, the baby and the father doesn't play anymore, and I was divorced from the father for a long time. The baby skill on my character had also been broken for a while as well.

It only took about a week for them to do it for me. I wasn't even around when they did it. I came home from work one day and it was done.
