What Item Mall items do you have that are taking up space because they're unuseable? Please refrain from having this topic diverge into a concern about extensions. Posts doing so will be deleted without question.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "unuseable" -- simply those that are expired and can no longer be used, or those that are junk that we just don't have any real use for?

At any rate, I think the biggest issue by far concerning IM inventory management is the amount of IM costume pieces that are available. For those that like to collect and keep a variety of different clothing items so they can switch up their appearance (or their stats) from time to time, there simply isn't enough room to keep everything on one character.

To that end, here is my suggestion: How about adding a MyHome item that acts as a wardrobe of sorts, allowing players to store IM costume pieces in it and remove them at any time while visiting their MyHomes? You could even make it expandable. I personally wouldn't terribly mind if this item required extensions, but it should be cheap, otherwise players will simply do what they do now and make multiple accounts/characters to mail things back and forth between them.

you means like 2.8k Crow's Feathers I had at one point that i could never use?

Ah, I see. Well, it might be hard to come up with a consensus dealing with players from different level ranges, but we can try.

For instance, as a high-level character who rarely needs to travel, Warp Cards are pretty useless to me. But I love using them on my lower-level alt characters as a fast way to get back and forth when completing quests that require you to trek back and forth between two areas that are far apart, when farming monsters for Wanted board missions, etc.

Some other items that come to mind:

Experience boost potions (useless for capped characters, and now you can't even transfer them to your lower-level alts to use them on a different character that you're still leveling)

Memory transfer cards (again, really only useful for lower-level characters)

Safety foam (I've never really understood the point of these aside from being handy for power-leveling an alt)

Feathers (if you win/buy a bunch of the lower-level ones early on, you tend to outgrow them pretty quickly -- I don't understand why there isn't just one feather that works in all cases instead of splitting it according to level)

Useless? the stone age IM seriously I really consider them ugly.
Ok that was pointless but its my point of view, I really consider low level feather as useless, exp pots semi useless considering cap level might increase, safety foam, really useless, expired items... lol of course, I used to have lots of ballons and IM house items that I had to delete cause they were expired..
And talking about IM clothes, just thinking MAYBE you could like, bring bad old costumes so people can have them, instead of creating new ones so we will not be outspaced with the new items...

These are utterly useless to me, but may have some value in market/trade.

Also like to note:

Perhaps special mixed items on mix board/big wheel- I don't see a point for why they're even soul bounded.

The items go from:

Paris, Devil, Angel, Snow King/Queen, Dino sets...much more idk..

Yeah, that's true. I just wish they were still transferable between characters on the same account, b/c I have so many stockpiled from old THQ events/gachas I don't think I'll ever be able to burn them all just using them on one character. Heck, I'd even settle for being able to gift them away to noobs or something just to make space.

Is the purpose of this thread to point out things that we could toss out to make room, or are you planning to make these items usable? Personally, not all of these are taking up room, but here is what comes to mind.


Unusable (stuck on the wrong character):
Feathers (wrong level)
Eternity Pots (wrong characters)
Megaphones (limited usefulness on wrong character)
Old Expired Equips
Exp Pots
Memory Transfer Cards
Teleport Cards
Lavalon Recipe (have z weapon)
Aram Recipe (have z weapon)

Worthless for everyone (imo):
Mission Portal Cards (these cost more IM than it costs to use the warp stone)
Stone Recovery Potion
Defense Time Increase (I've never heard of this being needed)
Party Warp Cards (only point of these is to spam for medal. Won't take you to chaos map or hidden map)

Annoying:
Character Bound Cash Clothes (I like to collect things, and eventually I can imagine my entire expanded cash inventory will be taken up by these)

Sigh due to my lack of room..lol I've already dropped most of my halloween costume Save for the top and hat pieces... Dropped St.Patricks day stuff too...and the feathers

id like to add in the earrings from f7s, (cant sell or soul) if they are not useful then i just toss, would be nice if we could soul them even for 1 point. there are also some misc items that say they can be sold but the npcs will not take em, another sadly tossed item .

Um, what about items that aren't necessarily expired but can't be sold or transferred? Like the previously mentioned St. Patrick's Day balloon? Also, how about any of the Cherry Blossom festival balloons? It would be nice if I could at least send 'em to one of my other characters--even if I could never sell them...

Free event items cannot really be used for trading in.
