I'm new/returning to the game.

Just a quick question concerning my assassin build. I'm building it to be a lucky criter, but it also has double hit. When I crit and double hit at the same time (in terms of game probability), will the double hit be two times the power of a crit, or does the double hit replace the crit effect?

Also, if I add an Injustice card to the mix, what will happen when I crit, auto SB, and double hit at the same time (in terms of game probability?

Oh and the last even more tricky question: What happens if I sonic blow (active skill), crit, double hit, and auto SB?

I obviously am not expecting to see a sonic blow of crits that is done twice for the double hit... because that might be somewhat broken... lol :ani_meow:

Double Attack has higher priority over criticals.
Skills dont activate double attack because it is another skill [passive].
Autocasts dont activate with skills except reflect damage.
As far as i know SB wont be a critical attack.

Edit: It would be best not to use that injustice carded weapon if you are depending on criticals or double attack. You would find that as you gain levels normal hits will do more damage in the time sonicblow animation plays out.

Oh wow... that is a bummer. I was making a crit sin and thought double attack would work well with it. :ani_meow:

And not sure how I missed that important line in the wiki saying DA had a higher priority than critical.

Thanks for your post.

Assuming you have enough hitrate against the monster, double attack+crit with katar outdamages pure crit. In renewal, crit does not ignore defense, only flee.

You cannot perform double critical attack since critical overrides DB. Nevertheless, I would love to see GM implement a system that would allow critical hits for DA.

No, backwards.

Double attack takes overrides crit. So if you had 50% crit rate, and double attack 10 (via DA10 and chick/snake hat), you would do double attack 50% of the time, and crit 25% of the time (50% of the times that you don't do double attack).

From how I see it, you don't actually gain anything from speccing to be a crit sin if you use DA. As long as you can hit them, you are better spending your stats on str or agi.

I would agree with this assessment. The damage increase from critting on the non-DA attacks is small.

Yes, it's just best to choose one over the other.

However, there are bonuses to go to just crit gear and such as well. For example, with crit jurs, a lower level assassin could actually take on the ghost morroc, because with the high ASPD, and the crit, it means you would actually hit him (since crits always hit) and it would keep it from healing himself (since it interrupts his cast with a higher ASPD), so a low level group actually managed to kill him because of that.
