I have to say this is definitely up there as one of my favorite quests.

Granted I wasn't around as many of the vets here, but the reward for this quest is pretty touching. I'd love to see more quests like this

Nostalgic. But iRO, you can do better. Crown of Yggdrasil?? There are better headgear designs. The end?

Other than that...I LOVE YOU IRO!!!

I really don't think the quest was really about material rewards or net exp gain this time around.

I agree.

I was really happy to see these old maps... I joined right after the destruction of Morroc, so I never got to see that map. It was pretty cool to explore old Payon and old Morroc!

It wants you to have a Mage, Priest and Thief in your party, but you can do it alone, you just need:

50 Red Gemstones
60 Blue Gemstones
50 Yellow Gemstones

And some luck to pick the lock.

Not sure, but it really doesn't matter. I picked the lock on my first try.

Myself I joined a little before Rachel was discovered, so I remember Old Morroc. So bright, so lively...It was my old base town. And at the very least I got to see the Legendary Old Payon

Doesn't matter, did it with full gear as a knight.

A Mechanic friend and I both got success right after taking off all our gears, so i dunno, can someone confirm if they also have same result?

I just spammed it. Didn't take too long.

Also +1 on the old kafra headgear trade npc. Where is it? :o Heim just removed it from the patchnotes and pretended it never existed.

Kafra thing probably wasn't ready or an approved idea yet. Things like that happen.

As for the lock pick, you can do it with full gear, just seems to take some tries. I did it first shot on my Rogue though, so maybe it favors Thief classes?

That headgear is meaningful, it was designed by a player who has been around for a long time. She took time in designing that and it is very cool of them to put her design in game.

It's cool that they put in a headgear that someone designed, but I think the quest is terrible and not a bit nostalgic.
This is just my opinion though. I hope the next parts of the event are better.

I dunno, it just looks like another zodiac headgear to me. There were a lot more unique and cute items from previous headgear events/the february one.

The only problem I have is that it's not at all a USEFUL headgear. Why can't we make things for say the lower or Mid slots alone? not to mention other parts that don't see much attention, like accessories or footgear.

Vit +2, Int +2 on a headgear is just not that good.

Chance to cast lvl 3 Blessing, Agi up, or Heal when physically hit by a monster; If refined to +7 or higher, this chance increases. - Pretty much all my Melee characters are Agility based so having things proc when I get hit at very low chances is useless to me. Besides +7 upgrades on a 1 time per char quest item is not really a great idea. (although truthfully don't know if it's a one time only event but would make sense.).

Level 70 Requirement - This just made a pretty useless headgear even more so.

I do want to thank people for thinking up good concepts but really need to think if people are ever actually going to want to wear it. One of the headgears I missed and wish I hadn't was the Snake head as it gives Double attack which is VERY useful.

stuff

lol, it's like all the zodiac headgears. Refine to certain level, get a bonus. Generic +1 some stat.

What I was hoping for is more lower headgears. There was one that I really liked, it was a drooping kitten in mouth or something. I thought that was original and totally cute. I don't remember what it did, but it didn't get chosen...
