Ok, so...the last one got out of hand. So I'm gonna start this one up with the intent to let people voice their opinions concerning what happened, but let's keep the trolling to a minimal (meaning...non-existent). I understand that I didn't help much in the last, but I'll use my better judgement this time around. I'll also be reporting posts that are unnecessary and are only seeking to start flame wars.

For the less-informed, God Item Creation consists of the following:

1) A guild/individual/group of people must complete Seals 1, 2, 3, and 4 to completion. (http://irowiki.org/w...God_Items_Quest)
2) All four seals release (the race begins).
3) All guild leaders talk to the NPC and attempt to finish his dialoge as fast as possible.
4) Once the conversation is completed, you're warped to a hallway where you foot race everybody else.
5) First person to the end of the hallway and to enter the awaiting Chat Room is sent to a room where they may make their WoE 1.0 god item.

A packet injection technique/cheat has been used in several cases to bypass the hallway race to create a God Item. So, imagine doing steps 1, 2, and 3, but instantly completing steps 4 and 5 (no hallway, essentially, and no race).

What do you guys think should happen to the people that cheated and made a countless number of God Items? I, for one, think that they should be permanently banned and the WoE 1.0 god item and set used to create it should be destroyed and deleted.

I'm also annoyed with this due to the fact that my guild has lost several times to cheaters and we pushed the seal rolls the whole way. I also fund my guild Reset Stones so that they can reset their seal completions, which ends up costing me about $40 every roll. I'm sure I've lost well over $120 to cheating, and I'm sure that that money can't be refunded. I've accepted that. I, personally, would like some sort of compensation though. Either a god item creation or a seal roll. Some creations are probably due to other people as well, so I'm not just saying OMG ONLY DO US!

We are not running a vote on what people think should be a punishment on something that is in investigation.

The GM team's responsibility is giving appropriate investigations and justified punishments. This topic had no where to go except into name calling and rabbel rousing.
