So, I've always heard that for PvP/UW, Katar Raiders are much preferred to Dual-Wield Raiders.

And for leveling/PvM, Dual-Wield Raiders were always much preferred to Katars.

Personally, I've always had more FUN as a Katar Raider...but I don't want to be painfully grinding/solo'ing my way through the levels, so I've been a DW Hawker thus far (Currently lv 92).

Can anyone tell me which is better for leveling/farming, etc, and which is honestly better for PvP/PvM/UW? And please give good reasons, rather than just stating a biased opinion.

I know that hawkers in general aren't really that proficient at leveling/farming anyway, but any advice/facts/statements about this would be nice.

Dual swords raider are just slightly better than katar in PvM because of the spiral kick/circle break, but eventually you will give up grinding and start leeching from champs/mages party, so if you like katar, just stay katar, don't need to be a dual swords raider to level up, it doesn't help at all.

So then...is Katar still better for PvP or UW? I know they're different....and I'd really like to know about both!

Dual swords is kinda fail right now, because of the lack of damage output on those skills and the contradicting stat build. STR gives the most AP to dual swords and DEX gives a little bit AP, while it is the best to maximize your accuracy and dodge. So, you have to get DEX/CON/STR all of them, each of them are equally important which is why it is contradicting.

On the other hand, a katar gets most AP from DEX and you could just boost DEX and CON then the rest put into STR which is simple enough.

I don't have a lot experience with a raider, but since everyone is a katar raider in Union War and PvP, so I guess no doubt it is better.
