Title. And Reasons, please! Trying to decide what to do with my epics.

Best gem is whatever gives you the stats you need the most.

For example, if your accuracy passives arent maxed and u think u could use some more u can go for m7 or sa7.

If you think u have enough accuracy go for D7.

Not considering J7 or SQ7 because I assume dodge is enough.

I was told (and thinking of doing this) that getting an SA7 would be my best bet, because you only lose 10 + 2% AP from the diamond, plus you get plenty of accuracy. Are SA7s pretty common in Epic Katars?

Yes SA7 is not a bad choice, my Epic Katar has a SA7 in it. The most important reason is that with a one stat gem, u get a x amount + 5%.

While, with a double stat gem you have x + 3% and x + 3% which gives u 6% distributed on 2 different stats. Overall its an extra 1%.

Use an M7.

Use Epic Katar SA7/P7 if u wearing <Precious Raptor set + Typhoon P7 set> or <Chiva + Lava D7 set>.
Use Epic Katar D7 if u wearing Glorious Raptor set.
