as far as i know kro replaced the rune knight sprite like half a year ago, and i was wondering if there were plans for iro to follow suit.

i personally really dislike the current rune knight sprite and since kro felt like they had to change it, i don't seem to be alone with my opinion.
i'm well aware that some people might prefer the current one, but maybe there could be a poll or something if that's an issue.

just wondering.

It would irrefutably be the coolest looking sprite in the game. I wouldn't have a choice on whether or not to level my knight. I'd have to. I mean look at that thing.

It would be nice if we could choose the clothes of the RK, to the current or the new theme.

I refuse to 3rd Job my LK until we get this sprite. He can stay 99/70 till then.

I believe it was mentioned in the Q & A session that the GMs "wanted them" alternative sprites that is not sure if this falls under that category.

The thing that bother me most about the RK class is the dragon. I refuse to get the dragon and along with it Dragon Breath because I think that the green dragon looks like a big giant ugly dinosaur. So far I have stop playing my RK because of this very reason. I would like to see Gravity implement a dragon that has wings. A little something like this: http://images4.wikia...reen_dragon.gif

yeah the male sprite is awesome and prolly the best male one in game.

The female one is kinda awful. Looks like she cant even stand up straight withe weight of the puny amount of armor they gave her. There is just something wrong with their legs, and even know both the Knight and LK look like that too it doesn't help the cause that much.

Not really. It won't smply replace the current RK sprite. It will be an alternative RK sprite which you can get via Kafra Shop. Gravity said they were going to make alternative sprites for every other 3rd cls sometime too, but RK was already implemented because it was the most complained about.

Errr... I could swear I read this just simply replaced the other sprite on kRO and that the cash shop deal was only a rumor that never happened? I could be wrong but...

I guess I'm the only person that actually quite likes the (dyed) Rune Knight sprites we have now? I'll admit the original colours on the sprites look like utter crap, but fundamentally, I personally find the design quite nice, especially the long coats and the pseudo-cravats. XD

I don't really see what the big deal about the RK sprites are, honestly - i don't think the current one is bad. I'd be much more interested in dragon dye (i've seen colored dragon sprites, supposedly official).

I like their current design much more. Actually the original RK look made me consider to make a knight for the first time lol. New one is just like LK with a few more spikes and doesn't imply any relation to runes.

I'd really love if that rumor about every 3rd getting an alt sprite were true.
Because over the many years before renewal, all ro players have made up their mind about what classes' looks they like, and their favourites have grown on them. Now if they wanna play these longer, they're forced to the 3rd cls sprites, whether they like them or not. This would be the right time to offer a choice between 2 sprites for each class : )

For me thats the case with sage cls. I've always played sage. They don't look that great as 2nd, but its not the worst either. I love their trans sprite. Ive spent a lot of time playing sage just so I would one day have a scholar sprite. But when I managed to get trans renewal came by and I wasnt scholar for very long. Now I have a Sorcerer, totally loving it's skills, but it's got that "packed with unnecessary accessories and other crap" look, that I rather wanna make a new scholar than play my sorc ._.
I'm sure theres lots of ppl who feel the same for other classes.

Maybe have this as a " Clothing Change " item sold by kafra? same as color dye just changes sprites?

+1 for RK sprites. It's not that hard to do.

And the dragon is OK, I just wish you could dye it different colors! I'd imagine that's pretty easy to do as well.
