What is the best/fastest way for an Acolyte to become a Sura the quickest?
Do I need to max out my job levels before changing jobs?
Should I trans in order to become a good Sura or it doesn't matter as well
What are some of the must have skills to level up as quickly as possible?
Why do people called Champion a Sura?

You must trans, no question about this. Trans gives you higher HP/SP and Guillotine Fist damage is based on the amount of SP you have.

Olbaid, thank you. I will add this to my Acolyte to do list.
Also if I'm going for pure mace build which skills should I get (which skill are strictly for mace only).

Forget about the +25% hp/sp! You need trans for Zen! Zen alone is worth transing for. You do need to max out your job level as trans (so job 50 high aco, job 70 champ). People often use the names of trans classes and their third job counterpart interchangably in casual conversation, out of habit from pre-renewal.

So just to confirm. I should go Acolyte > Priest > Trans to High Novice > then High Aco > Champ > and then Sura?

Is this correct? Also I should be maxing my job levels for every job right? @_@

Yes, fraid so.

While the job level you change from aco to priest at has no bearing on your character after you trans, you can't really make an effective priest without going j50 as aco.

olbaid is correct on this one. Go MONK~!!!!
And yeah, You should max all job lvls before going to the next. Our classes need many skills and you should get all. It is highly recommended.

I can't seem to find a good guide on Monk/Sura after renewal. Can you guys let me know what my stats should as a Monk?
