I'm dying with one hit of hundread spear, goh, arrow storm and many spells. USING SHIELD.
My intention is to survive these ranged phisical/magic skills using siege set, hagalaz rune,% ranged damage reduction, mdef, parry and refletion equips.(bellum claymore and frus).

Siege plate I do not care. Having 30 or 60k hp I'll die in one hit using two-handed sword..

I do not believe this is correct? I believe most of it comes from exchange fom donating to open the dungeons (that anyone can lvl in regardless if they own a castle, and not pvp) and the extra few bellum things drop in the dungeon 2nd floor.

For those saying it's fine that casters get 1/20th of the HP and ~2/3rds of the damage reduction from their main armor, because they're not tanks and their roles are different, have you LOOKED at the seige robe?

What are they getting to help them in their roles? 5 int. Wow, a whole 7.5 MATK. That will negate a whole 1% of that 10% extra melee damage reduction, or make healers about 0.5% more effective. Yep, totally balanced! :hmm:

Whoever keeps hoping this crap gets implemented soon is probably maining a Sura. If all it does is target SP, then it's not worth abandoning my KVM stuff for. So you've drained the target's SP. Big whoop. One ygg berry or a few blue pots and you're roadkill.




Like I said once before, I strongly think 90% of those items are way overrated.

You should look at the sets more closely. I think the mage/aco set is far better than the swordsman one. Look at the MDEF you can get from the set. Little hint, 100 MDEF is freeze immunity, freeing up an armor slot.

I want this set because the armor set is superior to the KVM set in both demi human reduction and garment style reduction while maintaining the same HP and anti-freeze. I main genetic.

Congrats, you are about 1/3 more immune from Freeze! 2 Warlocks using Jack Frost is still highly likely to freeze you. If it doesn't give Freeze immunity like the Glorious Set, the MDEF stat isn't even worth bringing up in the discussion.... :mellow:

It needs to give AT LEAST 10% MATK to be even useful. MATK is important to offensive caster characters and they need EVERY point of it due to the crappy MATK formulas.

Also, I'll take 25% bonus HP over -_-ty 30 MDEF any single day on my AB. It is far more reliable way of survivability...

Creza has a point in that a glorious set on a bishop or similar low HP class is like 25k hp * 1.35 = 33.75k HP, while 26->26k with this siege robe is pathetic. I roll into woe with just about 0 mdf and I never die to warlocks or sorcerers (unless they crystal me and some ally helps them dps me on top of that while I can't DO ANYTHING OR POT...). Much rather have max HP than mdef. Much much much rather.
