If they will be removed the next maintance, what happen if I buy a bulk and use them later. I read gms are going to make mvps quest type or something like that, so i dont wanna end with like 300 convex mirrors boxes and not being able to use them, or being able to use them but there will be other way to summon the mvp(without wasting 1). so please if a gm can talk something about this I will apreciate a lot.

What's a convert mirror? Is that something you hold up to someone to change their religion?

As for convex mirrors, they have long been the most hated item in the cash shop, and in fact the only permanent item in there that most players wish didn't exist. Killing a boss should not be a cash-only feature. Period. It's a basic part of the game.

I doubt they can delete the existing ones when they finally stop selling them, so unfortunately, you probably will be able to hoard them if you so chose. Please don't... let them die.

There's a grave marker that tells exactly when the MvP will spawn and everyone can check it.
It's up to you about buying them.

Your English made it seem like you wanted to know what the stone does. Heim's intending on making MvPs so you need a party to kill them, so if you're buying them to solo, I would probably hold off.

The way it is now, putting aside your gear and class; having a convex mirror is a must to MvP. GMs intention is to make the item less important than what it is. Few months back Heim stated through a pm that they are planning on making MvPs instanced and quest spawned where mirrors will not be so much needed.

As what Myzery suggested, you are better off not buying any more mirrors till there is a solid clear statement from the CMs. However, it wont be a clever move if they decided to disable the mirrors completely after selling them numerous times through lucky boxes and such while the majority of the community opposed the presence of such item in the first place. Could say a little too late.

I'm not sure what a solid clear statement is, but all they are doing for now is removing it from the shop. Existing convex mirror items will function as they do now until a date in the distant future where they might be disabled (shouldn't really be necessary if the supply terminates itself after the source is removed).

I believe Heim or Oda said something to this effect in the past week or two.

I actually use them to AVOID the MVPs. If I'm leveling in Amatsu 3 I'll pop one to know where Samurai Spectre is, because he's a jackass

The MVP/Miniboss system should be different. Like.

In some other RPG games [Mainly videogames], you find a boss after crossing a dungeon and defeating most monsters in the zone, and the boss is "awaiting" for you.

Here, you find the boss while you are hunting other stuff. You get surprised and defeated in no time.

Maybe a turnin-like quest, in which the leader of the party can get it, and then you start hunting items and/or killing monsters, to in the end, face the boss in the end of this quest.

I don't know if it would work or not, but in RO, there is a example of what I'm thinking about. The Ice Necklace quest, to summon Ktullanux = http://irowiki.org/w..._Necklace_Quest

Note: The MVP summoning has a cooldown of 4 hours. So it can't really be overused, even if 20 people party to kill the monster and each one makes the quest individually.

And about the Convex Mirrors. According to the patch notices, they will continue working, but not being sold anymore.

On that note, currently there is one iRO-specific example of a quest MVP, and that would be detarderous. You kill X number of blue acidus egg, and angry blue acidus come out. Kill X angry blue acidus, and some special hydrolancers come out. Kill those and then detard spawns.
