F*ckin died so many times today cuz of damn lag. WTf am i the only one? Not even just lag.. but like lag spikes that last bout 4-5 seconds.. wtf

i pull a mob then my screen freezes for 4-5 seconds then yea im dead when the lag is gone. im spamming the pot, wing, etc hotkeys during the lag but they dont even work wtf.

sorry.. just frustrated as hell trying to lvl. since the turn ins are gay like 2% for turn in and die from lag losing 3%

If its your fault. You can fix it.

If its Gravity's, post it in that thread and they will fix it. No need to make a new thread every single time you are lagging.

when does Lagnarok ever not lag... means either our connection is always bad no matter what or their is always bad. i had a mild lag ever since i first started playing RO but its jus gettin worse :/

I get no lag.

Well, I mean, I have a consistent 200ms ping. But its consistent, so I don't notice any spikes.



Have you tried the TCPAckFrequency fix?
Have you tried using a Proxy like Lowerping?

i started to lag since the first day Anniversary event started...... Previously i have lag but not consistent every day like right now....

Its not even the laggy-ness im mad about.. its the "EVERYTHING FREEZE FOR 5 SECONDS!" lag that makes me mad. Only when i'm mobbing once in awhile it wants to freeze cant tele, pot, NOTHING then find myself. Happened twice at rachel sanc already. Taking me way longer than I should to level 1 ****in level.

I bet its the GM's secret way of getting people to get VIP so u get less death penalty... @$$hole

Lag spikes are caused by packet loss. Do a tracert (maybe do several, because if the packet loss isn't that frequent, you might not catch it "in the act" on the first tracert, until it's clear where the packet loss is coming from. If it's your ISP, complain to them. If it's ntt, send the tracert to gravity so they can show it to their ISP and yell at them.

If it's somewhere in the middle, there's not much you can do - a service like lowerping.com or wtfast.com might help - both offer a free trial. I would have quit iRO back when comcast started routing through AS6453 if i hadn't found out about lowerping.

I think you need to chill and take a break if you're lagging and dying constantly. Your fault if you're playing even though you know you'll lag to where you'll die from it. As Wiggles mentioned, send in a tracert.
