The title pretty much says it all, I am looking for an active rp guild on the valkyrie server. Please reply here if you would consider me joining. I am new to Ragnarok, BUT I am NOT new to rping so i hope you dont hold that against me aha. So yea i kind of rambled on but post a reply here if you would consider me joining.

I play on Valk too and I just so happen to own a guild. Sadly, the guild itself is not very active since RO has really become a complete grind-fest since Renewal and all of us are still trying to get our bearings. But! Wow, I didn't know people actually Role Played on RO... I kind of half do so, and then my comics flesh out characters, but I could never get my whole guild to do so. Power to you guys~!

[to 1st post] Well i was really looking to rp on ragnarok instead of another website xD, so i wouldnt mind rping with you just not on that other webite, unless i am getting it wrong? do ya'll just post main stuff on the forum? or actually do therping on the forum o_O, how would that work xD.


[to 2nd post] I didnt really know ragnarok was rp either, i checked on some other forums and others said it was, maybe they meant pservers? oh well lol im sure there are a bunch of rpers on here that just dont rp out in the open

The form of RPing that I did before I came to Ragnarok involved a lot of paragraphs and it was basically kind of like writing a book, except with other people and it was kind of like a continue-the-story thing. XD But I know that not everyone likes RPing like that, so no worries if it's not your style. =P We do RPing on the forums, but we also do it in-game, so as mentioned before, feel free to drop me a PM if you'd ever like to just wander around RPing. ^_^

As for RO being like an RP, in my experience, it really isn't. :/ I know that there are several private servers that have a real focus on roleplaying, but all the ones I've checked out are dead.

Yeah, see I'm only able to half Role-play in game due to my responsibilities as guild leader of Eternal Dao which is more of a community in game and off then just a small guild. So I switch in and out of character consistently. Back in 2004-2006 on the Loki server I role-played almost all my characters which wound up confusing the hell out of people. I had three characters that were brothers and because of this people thought I was three diffrent people sharing one account. These days I do it depending on who I'm with, and I do have a person in my guild who plays strictly as the character via chat.

Yeah, I'm the same, actually. When I started RO, I was roleplaying 24-7, but that made it really hard to interact with people, especially when some of your characters are naturally grumpy. Now I slip in and out of RP depending on the people too.
