Would've been cool to include the other 2 jRO hats from their anni pack. Although one of them is exactly like the Ygg crown so I guess that would be pointless.

Would have been nicer if you made the Cancer low tier stuff into a box that randomly opens to what you're currently recycling. :3

+10 matk PER REFINE on thorn staff. and +8% matk for getting JUST +7.

Once +10 There is no reason not to +11 your thorn staff. Meaning +110 matk.
Mindbreaker 5 adds 100. Skull Cap = Mindbreaker from bonus alone. Take into account Thorn Staff matk + piercing + cast delay reduction.

You can judge for yourself how it compares to CoD...

For those saying the mask is great for autoattack, you're forgetting something important:
In Renewal, that's zero classes. You simply cannot level on single targets with Renewal exp rules unless you're one shotting with a fast skill.

That's really the thing with all 3 of these hats. They're old jRO items that WERE great hats pre-Renewal, but are, at best, niche hats now.

Or you can buy a Staff of Destruction for 4m, and get about the same MATK at +0 that you would at +10 with the Thorn Staff... or use the 13.3 quest gear that's even stronger. Unless you really, REALLY desperately want a shield, CoD wins here. The exception again is sorcs, who can't use an SoD, and don't get a giant kick upwards in 13.3.

It *is* quite nice on a Sorc, but I really don't see anyone else going for this except as *maybe* a temp item to use until 13.3 hits.
