What is fire trap damage actually effected by? I know DEX is a major factor while INT is a minor factor, but will ATK+% cards, such as Byorgue card, increase the damage? What about just straight +ATK cards? Or is it MATK?

I already read that. I understand that it is mostly DEX and INT, but what I am asking is if +ATK and +ATK% effects the damage at all.

All I can see is the FAQ about fire trap damage and how ATK "may" effect damage, but please correct me if I am wrong? Or you could just answer my question.

Actually, I just tested it today on my Chaser. %Atk doesn't affect the trap damage. Pure equip Atk does affect the trap damage though. As it is most likely based on Equip Atk, I'll have to make sure this is the case when I can borrow a Porcellio armor or something.

Average Fire Trap damage my Chaser was doing with a +9 Quad HF MG[4] was around 6.1k.

Average Fire Trap damage my Chaser did after equipping my +5 Red Twin Edge of Naght Sieger[3] ended up being around 6.34k. This probably being the strongest weapon a Chaser can equip thus far.


Obviously not much difference.

Byorgue card in essence isn't going to affect Fire Trap damage. It only helps AutoShadowSpell Chasers.

Thanks for the insight, I appreciate it! Now I know not to blow 20 million on a Byorgue card.
