I know where you're all coming from with the comments about "group of soloers" and "not working together", but I hardly think that's the case. In fact, we worked very closely together to keep the spawn cycle in good rotation. Often times, two of us with a mob would run into each other and combine it into one mob and help kill. As a support RG, I'd buff party members I ran into with heal and battlechant. Just because we weren't physically "next" to each other while we killed doesn't mean we weren't working together. It would have been a worthwhile investment for the whole party to bring a couple floating AB's into the party who could agi/mag/etc. us whenever they'd see us. I saw several duo-parties of AB+Killer while we were there at Juperos, and inviting both of them would not have slowed down our EXP. For whatever reason, though, they weren't interested in the party.

I think also my report is being a little obfuscated by the fact that I'm using a quick-leveling class in a quick-leveling area and reporting that the party system makes for quick-leveling. These facts are important to total EXP gain, but not to proportional EXP gain. Let me reiterate:

-I, leveling alone in Juperos, make X amount of experience.
-Grouped with 5 other people who kill at my speed or slower, I get about 40% or 50% -EXP per monster that I would normally.
-The collective 6-person-party kills about 4x as many monsters as I do in a given amount of time, me being the fastest killer in the group.
-That makes for .4X or .5X experience per monster at 400% speed, which amounts to 1.6X-2X experience per hour.

This should be true whether I'm a Royal Guard mobbing thousands of venatus or a 1/1 novice killing black mushrooms. "If I have a group of 6 people who kill at roughly my speed, I should get about 2x experience." My extended point is that, with this large increase, a large margin exists to add support characters and still maintain great EXP, what with the 20% bonus for them being in the party and fairly small sacrifice in share value. You should be able to have several support characters and still have better EXP than solo, which was where my comment on Blackpotato's group was derived:
If the party EXP was that* slow, it would mean that either there weren't many killers in the party, or the extra killing-power wasn't efficient for the style of party that was going on. If you're moving as one big group, having 4x as many killers probably doesn't mean 4x the kill-rate, since one or two could probably take down the mob before the others could even get to it.

I would think, in that scenario, that the extra killers could plop into the main group, get buffs, then branch out a bit (maybe to the islands on either side?) and kill around the vicinity, and return for buffs when needed. Or else magma was just so heavily packed that you couldn't funnel a lot of monsters to the party. I'm sure I'm not seeing the whole picture, but I generally don't think the support characters are a burden to the EXP-- it's just a matter of whether or not you have a good balance of killing-power and killable-targets.

Only post that make sense in here to me.

I do know what you mean, Kadnya. I really think that partying just "isn't necessary" given the game's current condition (not given my personal sentiments-- I'll often party just because it's more fun.)

A complete overhaul to the system just isn't plausible though-- and the temp fixes only exacerbate the current problems. I like the idea of a group of players (Minimum 4) going after very tough monsters with high-reward yield that simply can't be soloed by brute force. Unfortunately it's just not what the game is geared towards at this moment.

Can't be soloed by brute force....,Why training isn't allowed to cash in, that's the question, but wish to break it down....

Party's an option. An option indorsing Solo, and Group accountabilities, but Party Leadership understanding, or misunderstanding is driving other's campaign, including their own dynasty. Researching futher, how is it arriving recruits misplace the reason they started their party adventure, too concern about the Party's Leadership in session.

Many travelers take flights to Planet Ragnarok, and don't seek to be bothered, or isn't interested in disclosing communications. Other explorers ventures to Gameplanet to interact togetherness, and blend with communications.
Both Name Brands playing PS3, XBOX 360, and so forth, ran into none of the above, unless, but understanding creation captain both paths fairly so the Saga continues, and MANY Gamer's heartbeat romancing Gameplanet, was raised this way by Gameplanet Protectors. Yet, both sides venture that PS3 game

Shared Exp Parties being influenced, i wouldn't support this Vote. Shared Exp Parties researched on Other Gameplanets, were highjacked by private fantasies that put progess in the crippler cross face. Phase one formulated into arriving travelers needing a party after lvl 60, in order to acheive some decent exp clarity, and rank. Things went down hill from there. Laziness was considered honor, sideling the reason why one begin their adventure...

Nothing healthy influencing the Share Exp Party Effect, thus benching an old saying on Gameplanet, if you want something, or training to achieve, who's holding your weapon's suggestions in check? Let's open discussions and divide, yes, work maybe visable, but it's not contingency as success if it hinders Campaigns that not interested in radar integration.

Too bad the support classes are left in the dark... AGAIN...

True ... I spend 4 bloody hours searching for a party for my AB (lvl 149) yesterday,
got sick and tired of waiting and went to NI to kill stuff with Judex ...

I think it's because of the stupid Party/buff scrolls, they should have never implemented them in the first place imho.

I mean come on .. there's a Assumptio Party Buff scroll ? This should have been a skill for the AB.

I actually miss people asking "Buffs please", now they are like no thanks i have my own ...

Actually all his posts are like that, and he answered in perfect normal English to Jaye once. I think he just uses a random text generator, like this or this, then changes one or two words to make the post look like it has anything to do with topics .</offtopic>

Man. Therefore shall we will we would it was still as the garden in the dust of thy hand: but there was distressed: and go unto them, all flesh, both the stronger Jacob's. And his name of the children of famine; and went up his brethren discern thou shalt not unto the field, and our God, who shall yield unto Joseph, Are we opened all flesh, both we, that the more. And Abraham said, Jehovah God said, Behold, thou shalt thou shalt thou hast thou shalt thou thus shall be my distress, and Admah and humbled her. And it came forth from the children of the famine of the day, and his brother. And Pharaoh spake unto Pharaoh, and I serve Jehovah said unto him but there by the princes of Israel cried with him Rachel was brought it came of Mamre, to rule over the Philistines), and of Israel from the word that thou refuse to pass, as it near the daughter of the stronger than all living. And the city. And thou finish it shall go? Behold, the names of Ham: Cush, and embraced him, saying, Go forth ringstreaked, speckled, and from behind him.

Why are all forums on the internet these days flooded with google pictures? And why do I seem to be the only one that doesn't spit capri sun all over the screen in a raging fit of laughter? Are these pictures meant to be jokes? Most of them don't seem to make sense and the few that do make sense aren't the least bit clever. Am I getting old?

Bring back the motivational pictures imo.
