I don't understand why people would dislike or hate DBs, it makes the game more fun.
it's already pretty annoying that every 2nd map can't be BB'ed, DB'ed or Hocus'ed/mushroom'ed just because a few people were crying in the past.

There certainly is an abundance of helpful players willing to help nublets out in such a fashion, yes, but I think Aqualys sums it up pretty well. For the genuinely new players, there's nothing "fun" about being absolutely destroyed by DB mobs, regardless of whether there are (irrelevent) map restrictions or whether it was somehow "fun" for someone else. Seems pretty easy to understand to me.

It was always hilarious for me to be destroyed with DBs when i was a total noob

Maybe it's just me though, i can understand that some people don't like DBs in their face.
But DBs don't kill people. People kill people.

Umm... in my opinion, if they are fun, they are not worthless... anything that makes a game fun isn't worthless...

Dead branches are the BEST thing to grace Ragnarok Online. I got my character trans'd and died from dead branches plenty of times but I didn't cry about it. It didn't affect my ability to level at all.
