I'm reasonably sure you can only have one homunculus at a time... To change, you must permanantly delete your current one. I haven't tested to be sure, though, but there doesn't seem to be any specificity in calling your homunculus when you use Call Homunculus.

An Embryo only exists until you call a homunculus from it. After that, you can Vaporize it to put it away, but you don't have an item in your inventory (like a pet would give a pet egg) to reflect that you even have a homunculus.

That's why you pretty much better be sure about the Homunculus you pick because once you get it to 90+ or even evolve it, it'll be hard to get back to the state you were...

okok, so it's better to wait for homunculus S before playing with an alchemist class than...

Umm no it's not, because, as I've heard, you need a level 99 regular Homun to get a Homunculus S, so might as well get one to 99 before it comes out...

Yeah but isn't each homunculus S an evolution of the previous one? Like Filir would be a specific one, Amistr another specefic one?
