Hey I just started back after like 8 years of not playing and was wondering if I can change my job from an acolyte to something else. I have been looking for information on it but, cant seem to find anything. I want to pick a class that I could farm a bit better on to get some funds established.

Best class to hunt stuff would be a Swordsman or Thief. You can change to Priest or Monk from an acolyte.

I am going to add to the aboves reply. Thiefs are a really good way to farm items to establish some money in this game. More precisely Rogues are best at this.
He mentioned swordsman and I agree that later in game this is so. However it requires much investment in gears, potions and time for this because you really need to be 3rd class before you can get decent return.

When ur get Clashing spiral...that where the real money will come racking in...
use 600+ flywing and 150+bwing and save at inn and get a warper and memo the map you want farm gear.. Eg raydric Map
SO atm...Rougues seen to be a good idea atm
