- explosive trap not worth it
- weapon upgrade not very usefull cause you should get skillcrit up(by items)
- add more points in defense reduce debuffs to your pet can do more dmg
- maybe dont need snipercoolness , many avengers dont shoot but use knuckles for more skill crit additional dmg + magic dmg

i dont know much about rangers but i think:

yes its worth it, just dun waste dna pts on it

yes its useful, u still need to shoot when traps are in cd, besides u have more than enough pts

I dun use those coz not build for raids and avenger shouldn't depend so much on pet(cant capture ET mob now)

wrong again, most avengers still have to shoot pve or pvp wise
It depends on playing style and what do u use the avenger for. Mine is pvp/pve and I've been playing avenger for quite some time. I always felt using a launcher as the main weapon is still the best, coz its really important in pvp when u can use the escape skill to escape from Terms of Service/sleep or aoes. U also have the uppercut skill which comes in handy sometimes, if u use other weapons u lose out these 2 important skills. Another advantage is u can shoot enemies when traps are in cd, its certain not advisable to go near them to use ur knuckles. Avengers always need some range from the targets,just close enough for most traps to to be in range.
My build is similar but with minor differences , I dun take any debuff skills(traps are ur main dmg) and I use inducing honey bee skill(5 pts) when traps are in cd its another aoe that u can use to finish off the mobs after the traps goes off.
My DNA:
poten guided trap -5
poten bomb trap- 5
strengthen defense up - 7
wide range para trap - 8(+5 targets)

Thats idea is close to my heart but you resignate from addational pchisical crit from dna,its not worth those dna points?
Traps are ur main dmg dealers, physical attacks are secondary so its better to put the dna pts to reduce traps cd, 5 pts shave off 10s cd for both bomb and guided traps are worth it. With wide range para trap u can trap more ppl, after they get stunned from para trap u can put bomb trap on them if they are close enough, it also helps ur team in foc/tb/svs.

some good avengers i see in foc/theme use knuckles and bomb many ppl away
and some ST pets can hit much too

well that can work but I prefer to keep it simple and stick to one weapon so that I can use the launcher skills whenever I want, btw a staff like ruan would be better for more dmg output than knuckles. Knuckles are more for druid than avengers IMO.
ST pets are only good for grind, they die fast battlefields, also they are not easy to capture by urself without dying thats why I dun feel the need to put dna pts just to capture them.

The problem is knuckles adds phy dmg when u reinforce, so a staff that adds scad/con when reinforced is still better as it increase the magic dmg for traps too. Frankly I've only seen avengers use either staff or launchers and not knuckles. Of course if u want to use knuckles go ahead , different ppl play differently so its all up to individual choices.
