Why doesn't Yuufa heal Iruga after he's been injured by Keough?

She's a pretty awful priest. Either that or she ran out of blue gems :waddle:

All these years, I've always been wondering... I even re-watched the animation for the hell of it, but never found an answer.

I really want a sequel too :waddle:

For that matter, why does anyone, as part of the story, permanently die in any sort of rpg game? If I can resurrect my party mate umpteen million times, why can't the king be brought back to life(generic rpg storyline reference, btw)? :waddle:

I think in most RPGs, when a party member falls in battle they're just passing out. Which is why some games call it "revive" and not "resurrect".

But that argument doesn't really hold in the case of RO. You also got to wonder how long after death someone can someone remain resurrectable. Are the zombies that we kill the result of a priest being slow handing out the resurrections?

I agree with Makk, Kitten.

On Planet Ragnarok exist Regions, where if your Charc is defeated training, Guildwars, PVP, or so forth, you'll have to birth a new Charc, but ONLY to Warriors who possess Gameplanet's Understanding.

When we was invited to the Sitdown going on 11 rains now, we knew the exciting risk-breakers. Though i contend with a GM, Lights out, however, each hit landed by his/her sword reduced a level of mine, but we didn't visit the Outer Realm/Game Forum turning over furniture. The photographs before us hugged more meaning. If the whole server was invited, forget it. I believe Representatives in the Outer Realm would've had gray hair before their time, and I don't blame them

Learning intell of Idem Reborn, i'm regaining my strength. Using it begins a countdown for lvl retrieval, while still fulfilling my duties on Planet Ragnarok. Yes, i barely made it back to Morroc City, but should a Sitdown situation occurs, healed or not yet healed, were moving out.

(Now That's Gameplanet!)

I found out the reason. Episode 14, Keough states that his blades are laced with poisons which no herbs can cure. Apparently I think Iruga forgots he has Detoxify, but I suppose Healing doesn't help Poisons at all (Not in real world logic).

@Charisma: That was my guess.

On Topic: when he dies, he could have been resurrected. No herbs required, just a blue gem.

The anime could pick up with them finding out about transending and could climax with them battling Satan Morroc

If I remember right, Myung-jin Lee (the artist/writer) got too busy working with the game and shelved it.

Gotta agree with you there, not the best, barely mediocre. If they followed more of the manhwa story it may have worked better.

The frustration and confidence he gains when he go alone is well-done in my opinion (around episode 12-13). The end is trash though (*SPOILER ALERT* killing the "ultimate terror" (LoD) which no one is suppose to be able to kill in one episode was kind of frustrating IMO... Roan's not that strong either).

I watched the entire RO anime once, but I can't go back and watch it again. Yufa and Roan are just TOO FREAKIN' ANNOYING! I hate how useless Yufa is. I understand she's an acolyte/priest, but she doesn't need to be so freakin' weak and whiny. Roan ALWAYS has to come to her freakin' rescue. Iruga, Takius, and Judia made the series more tolerable for me.
I still think its crazy how many adult themes are in the series though. When I started watching it, I thought that it was gonna be a cute kids anime...but no, people are being raped, beaten up, abused, and didn't Judia use...a certain adult act to save Iruga? (its been a couple years since I watched it)

@Kaillera: Maybe he didn't put a point into that skill?
