I'd like to start playing & would like some advide as to what class to take.

My only real focus will be PvE & i'm looking for a class that is REALLY easy to find groups with & can kill mobs pretty fast (not the healer class). Basically, what class is basically the easiest to level with & most liked in groups? (bandit?)

ps: I used to play a few years back but dont remmeber much which is why im asking

Whats the difference between warlock & bandit?

warlock's easier to play i think, never played bandit though

Warlock can drop a aoe spell and walk away, which is nice for stalling mobs in f6. Bandit will have to sit there and use all their attacks. They can't attack without being in place. Therefore, warlock tends to be better for leveling. This is imo.

Warlocks are pretty fast mobbers, and do extreme damage. They can also heal and regenerate HP into MP, so they are a bit self-sustainable, lol.
Bandits are also fast mobbers, but their moves take up a lot of MP; be prepared to spend a bunch of gold on MP pots.

They are both great at PvE. Not sure about PvP, but I've heard that if you're a bandit, you'll be more prepared for PvP once you're 60+??? >.>

Warlocks are a snooze-festival in my opinion as you press a few buttons and walk away. The bandits on the other hand are both fun and challenging. I highly recommend them.

Bandits really only have 3 moves, and I found only using 2 out of those 3 the whole time a bit boring. But I guess it's like a priest, since they can really only spam a few moves from 20-40.

I think bandits really take off once you get your 2nd class promo.
