I've gathered all the items and bought the coupon for the new hairstyles from the Kafra Shop, but the guy won't let me do it. He says something about my character not being mature enough. Does that mean that there's a minimum level requirement to do this? Btw, this is for my level 19 Gunslinger, if that matters. ARGH, I WANT THE PRETTY NEW HAIRSTYLE. T_T

Same problem then I look it up and it seems you need to be about level 70 to hair change.

There is a level requirement of, I think 60.
Well yeah, looking it up, wiki says 60, so I'll go with that.
Part of me wonders why there's a level restriction on that, since the item-gathering requirement pretty much takes care of it. At least you don't have to be 90+ or something crazy like that.

if this truly is the case, that a kafra shop consumable that has no bearing on gameplay or performance cannot be used due to level requirement, i cannot allow this to continue without making a stink about it.
There is no legitimate reason to require a minimum level for someone to change their character's appearance when the process involves money changing hands. Payment of the required cash shop item should be the only requirement.
This goes for each and every other item in the cash shop. We pay, either directly or through third parties (earn points stuff) for the ability to use this stuff. Just for the sake of argument, lets say you go to the grocery store and buy a can of tuna. Now, this can of tuna is yours, you paid for it, you want to eat it. You open the can, but for some reason unknown to you, the tuna cannot be extracted from the can. You go back to the store, they dont take returns of any kind and there doesnt seem to be any way to return them. You attempt to lodge a complaint at the customer service counter but find only a stack of forms and a sign stating for you to leave a completed support ticket. Frustrated with the level of service received, you leave and find a homeless guy outside. Your can of tuna is useless to you so you attempt to give it to the homeless guy but it refuses to leave your hand. You attempt to drop it on the ground but it stays stuck to your hand. The homeless guy yells at you "STOP SCREWWING AROUND AND TRADE IT ALREADY". Dumbfounded, you reply that you cant and leave in shame. You return home and put the tuna in the cabinet, wide open to rot next to your shiny badges, medals and scrolls that also refuse to leave your person in public. All these things you'be bought in high hopes of using or found in boxes you were hoping were something else, just sit and rot in storage. All the while, you stare at them, fury building, wondering why when you've spent all this real money on these things, that some mysterious force prevents you from doing whatever you want with them, be that selling them off to recoup your losses or just use them yourself to the benefit that you expected from reading the writing on their label.
