I have been looking all over and can't find a good gem crafting guide and I was wondering about how much con is needed to get gems to a 7.

Edit: Is there a certain chem I should use at each grade of the gem?

Just look for the best or (almost) best con gear ingame. This is the ideal set you're looking for:

Luxury Ruby Set with S7
Priest Clothes S7 (or Legendary Mercenary Vest, or Brave Mana Steam Vest)
Legendary Mercenary Shoes\Gloves 11 con (rerollable to 20 con)
Royal Crown 20 con (50 total)
Crafting Mallet S7 (You can buy this hammer in Xita for 200k)
Ferrell Guild Pennant 20 con (or Book of Concentration 20 con)
Any backpack\wing with 20 con.

Very outdated info, they changed it a while back. Now 220 is the best for crafting.. anything.

That was quite a while back, before they fixed the Artisan class. The lvl 100 crafting level was completely unintentional.

yes its true , you can better be level 220 so you success rate will be more (dont know if its still in NaRose)

No there isn't realy a certain Chemical to use for gem crafting
because its differnce with how many CON you have
i would use High Ether but lets see what other thing about it
