Does anyone know when they will be replaced with something better? I'm thinking about buying both but don't want to spend a fortune for things that will be inferior in the next update or two. Thanks.

150-200m isnt really a fortun, i guess to some it is but not really. When renewal hit and even before renewal they were well into the 150-250m range so 50-70m for a nid isnt so bad and 100m for variants isnt either.

Are they going to be replaced in the near future with better gear though? I know sleipnir, and asprika are better but I obviously can't afford either of those lol.

Asprika is definitely not better than a Nyd. xD The only thing I use my Asprika for is teleporting around a map.

I thought since it was a God item it must be better. Just looked at the description, guess I was wrong

It doesn't work as it did Pre-Renewal, unfortunately. It only blocks one portion of the damage.

If you consider Sets (variation of armor,mant,shoes,acc) then yes, there is gear in future and upcoming updates that are potentially better.
