As far as I know, it's not. You can always transfer all your stuff onto an alt and then delete and remake the character, though.

I'd prefer not, I have 10 pre renewal built trans, and from reading, it doesn't look like their stat builds would work anymore.

then what you are looking for is a stat/ skill rest which is possible by using reset stones. These are vended in the market. and obtained from kafra shops.

there is also a permanent one time only skill/stat reset that you can get in the eden group.

Could you please elaborate on how this process works?

You talk to the NPC in the top right corner of the Eden Group with 0 weight and no mount and reset your character. You get all the points back and you can reallocate them how you want.
