You may have noticed in the last week+ we had some more posters with the volunteer tag below their avatars. We have three new Community mods and I have set aside this space for everyone to introduce themselves to the forums. Some of you will know from the long-ago times and some you may be getting to know just recently.

Maka, Makk, and Inubashiri can use this thread to say hullo, answer questions and such. Other community or game mods should chime in to say hello as well.

Together, we can work to make the forums a more fun and inviting place!

Hi my name is Inubashiri.

I like long walks on the beaches and thunderstorms....wait wrong website.

I like to run long distance (as in half marathon and full marathons), I work as a software/database engineer out of my house. I play RO casually now a days for fun and avoid the grind as much as possible, I like to just have fun and leave the politics of guilds/woe out of my RO experience. I've played RO since 2001 in Alpha testing, taken a break or two here and there for a few months but that's about it. Since GuardianTK pointed it out, yes I like to play Touhou if you know what that is, all my char names came from it. My nick name is also Wolf if you prefer not to try to pronounce that name.

Hello all you happy people *read in droopy voice*

Some of you may remember me from the old forums before I took a little break. There I created about 10 pages of sprite comics and then promptly procrastinated it out of existence. I've played since about the comodo patch and happily lived on Loki until the merge. There I ran a silly guild but have since retired from the lovely world of guild leading while I still have some hair left. I've been described as suicidally optimistic and I'm pretty sure that's accurate. Other little known facts:

• Some say I can't see the color fuchsia.
• and that I actually have a lead foot.

All I know is, I'm called the Makk.

I actually read it with a droopy voice for some reason >.> Man I wish I couldn't see the color fuchsia! Then these young urban hairstyles I'm forced to see adorned at my neighborhood Walmart wouldn't be so hard on my eyes. Sorry about the lead foot though, how did that happen? Smelting accident?

I did get a good laugh when I found out Maka was also going to mod, no possibility for confusion there at all.

I was going to make an AA joke on my intro, but it felt a little too expected.

When I was told that I was being tranfarred from the GM to the community team I had no small measure of trepidation. Notoriously opinionated and extremely knowledgable about the game, getting assigned to the RO community seemed a little like being thrown to the wolves.

I found, however a community willing to talk and listen and a lot of friendly people. Many have been involved with the community since the days of our rinky-dink BBS and RO forums, who were willing to talk with us civily, even if they disagree with how we do things.

Hopefully we mods can keep things positive and interesting and not get too bogged down in the usual forum bickering.

I like walking around towns and taking photos of old buildings using one of my ancient cameras and dumb internet videos. Drink of choice is coffee, con crema y sugar and vehicle of choice is the humbly boxy Scion XB.
