How cool would it be to have a build guide for your Ragnarok character on your phone? You would be able to upload your characters stats and equipment to the app and be able to put in your desired level and stat points and the app will generate a build guide to help you out. It will tell you what Monsters to kill and where they are located, what equipment you should have (recommended), and how long it will take based on how much you play.

Monster part: it will compare your stats with monster stats around your level to give a recommendation for the easiest, medium, and hardest monster to face at your level. Also tell you where the monster is located and how much base and job exp they give.

Equipment part: it will have recommended equipment based on what you can "find" and what will work best against one of the recommended monsters. this would include all equipment (weapon, headgear, accessory, etc...)

Time spand part: will calculate how many monsters of the recommended type you would need to kill to gain desired level (by default 1 level) of base, job or both. Based on that calculation, how much time you would need to kill 1 of them multiplied by the total you would need to kill to reach desired level (add maybe a fixed travel time based on how many monsters there are).

All of these could be based off of common builds and such for each character OR calculations generated by the app

Also it would be nice to just have a monster database for an app :-P

Any Thoughts?

I was tinkering with the idea of a sort of stripped down client app. Like, have the app hook into your account that you have running on a PC or something. It can watch your shop while you're out. You could remotely log out when you want to. Even do things like get PMs. You could even integrate the auction house if they fix it up a bit, you know, get an alert when your bid has been beat and allow you to bid from the phone. For me, that would be a good way to integrate the game with an App.

lol just yesterday i think the same it will be grate if they make a ragnarok phone like for blackberry or for all compatibility, it will be great like a info map enciclopedia or a small mini game, or what is more great that you can access your acount and make experience in certain places.

it will be really cool ^^

Wow, like that idea to gain exp through a mini game. Or even like a simple slot machine game that will only win if your on a specific random GPS coordinate that changes. That way you will never get the same exp in one location.

Well, the idea in itself is pretty sound. It would be useful if you play Ragnarok on full screen settings, I personally don't though. That being said, it's still pretty simple to just Alt+Tab out of Ragna and open up a web browser then load a webpage, I mean yeah, it slows down your computer a little but still, I would've thought it was easier.

Back on topic, I would of thought that it would be a pretty simple thing to do if you're good at programming Android, I mean hell, there was a PokeDex app on there, so surely a monster or item searcher wouldn't be too hard. Personally, I'm all for it.

Another App which would be cool?
A widget for Android which goes on your desktop and tells you if the server is online or offline.
