Just a suggestion here. But for shield mastery, I think it should have an attack debuff for every level. Like level 1 shield mastery- x% block rate -x% total attack. Orrrr have Block half damage instead of ignoring it. Or have block take no damage but still flinch/be launched/stay in air. Fixing Block rate would be a step towards balancing the pvp juggernauts; Paladins.

A decrease in attack I think is the only viable proposal or increase cool down/decrease time in effect, a block is a block = no dmg & no flinch. Shouldn't change that

that is a realllllly small step lol. Pallys block enough without mastery, and even 10% less attack or w/e it is probably would be like everything else and be base which would only lower....MAXXXXXXX 500 dmg? lol. Lower dmg does nothing when you can inf lock someone.

Its not difficult to infinite lock with any class, that is why it usually is not allowed in pvp. you either agree to it but many players consider it an unspoken law, especially in one one one fights. :)

But they are not supposed to be the dps class as well

just saying when you can inf lock so easy, you could do 1 dmg and still win pvp. lower dmg will not solve the problems with pally pvp.

All classes in this game are tank classes. also before Warriors got their attack buffed pallies were kept in check.

Were you here before warriors got buffed? Paladins were not /near/ as much of a problem as they were then.

Pallies need an attack nerf not to prebuff levels, a little more powerful than a savages. As far ad I know it's much higher tha a savages. And pallies should be able to block, you can't whine over them doing what makes their class what it is. It's like saying ninjas and pfs shouldn't have evade.

Pallies need an attack nerf not to prebuff levels, a little more powerful than a savages. As far ad I know it's much higher tha a savages. And pallies should be able to block, you can't whine over them doing what makes their class what it is. It's like saying ninjas and pfs shouldn't have evade.

Pally and Ninja are the only things with block. Ninja's is a lot lower and fairer. Everything can get evasion. Furthermore, pallies themselves can stack evasion. And to make my point more obvious, there is no stat that negates block rate like there is for evasion.

Like I said before NO INFINITE LOCKING otherwise no one will want to pvp you in the first place<_<

i know that, i never inf lock unless the other person deserves it, like a heal spamming monk or something. Just saying a simple attack nerf wont really help in the long run when you can 1 move inf lock someone.

It will help because your teammates have more time to help you, and the paladin runs out of mp faster

You know what would be cool? Make shield mastery increase block rate while decreasing movement speed. Make Parry a toggle that disables jumping, with a 2s cooldown. KKNP

I played knight before the buff and it was still lolop before the buff. What's fair about a class being a walking tank and horribly fat? Besides, the damage loss in pve would be fine considering that f7's here now. And Kazra your solution is superior to mine.
