PvE-vise, they're ok, good crowd control, blocking, HP, armor and all.

Tho End-game is either billion HP bosses to tank or PvP.
Looks good, although latter looks grim.

Blocking, does it block magic skills too than just physical attacks and skills? Or does it block skills at all?

If not;
Why wasn't it changed to affect magic skills a long time ago, one of the many reasons why Prots suck in PvP: "tanking skills that affect only more rare classes in PvP"
Blocking magic damage is one I see that must be changed.

If yes;
Nothing to say.

What do you think would bring Prots more into controlling crowds and effectively acting as meat shield, since they're the last targets or "leisure targets" since they cannot control wether players should attack them.
I usually just snare the Prots and focus on more dangerous and softer targets whenever I play Caster class.

What I thought:

Shield Strike duration DNA (+1...3 secs stun, 5 lvls) would act like good reason to dispose the Prot, since their team gets more window to cause real damage, should the enemy ignore the prot and allow it to smack the rad or defi.
This type of Prot only DNA would give more options, not too hard to create too, just program another DNA and add into Prot DNA tree.

Debuff 'that reduces target's all damage output' or 'causes target to take more damage', effect ends once the target enemy attacks the caster Prot
This too is not hard to create, but have to choose right effect that doesn't make Prots unbalanced, dispell on attacking the Prot will look good reason to attack the Prot itself. Could be linked to taunt skills (Requiring lvl 10 Taunt and Taunting Cry to get the effects) or a new taunt skill in Prot skill tree.

Taunts causing enemy to lock on the Prot
Dunno how this would be done. Maybe too hard for Gravity USA, as they've shown us.

Been talked about many times. Nice ideas but very much doubt anything will change. Block only affects physical damage, not magic.

If you wanna PvP make a Comm.

The extra block rate and defence on Prots are awesome for the higher raids, and the heals are enough to do some things without a radiant (eg duo WS runs).

TBH the only change I'd like to see is a Dura Amulet style HP buff for them.

Grav USA are not alud to alter the game in anyway.
