I was just in Nameless the other day on my AB, and I was annoyed to have to keep switching tabs in my inventory to check how many blue gems I had left. I also like to keep it closed, since I like to have as little windows as possible, so they don't obstruct my view too much. So, I thought, why not make catalysts like arrows or something and allow them to show up on hotkeys? Or in the little 'two slot bar'. I think that would be helpful with item collecting too, like if you need 100+ of some item.
Well, I do get that it takes up an important slot, but if you have one or two that's unused, it could be useful to do. Or maybe do something like the chat box and let the inventory be separated, so then everyone could see all of their equipment, healing items / buff scrolls / other consumables, and their other stuff all at once.

Does that sound like a good idea? :< Any other suggestions?

Take 200 bluegems with you.
Take 200 apples with you.

Hotkey an apple. Eat an apple during the cast-time of Magnus Exorcismus. It's tedious, but it's what I've always done to keep track of my bluegems.

Or if you had a Lady Tanee card you could use bananas instead.

Miscellaneous items such as blue gems are not able to be hotkeyed unless they are equipment such as arrows. That's why they would like a way to view blue gems without large windows open.

Oh, the normal arrows can be hotkeyed in the "F" hotkey, not only in the alt... When I tried the other time, it did not worked.

But well, the gems can't be really put in the hotkeys... It would be nice to have them there. Any trouble, make gems act as consumable items.

Would also be nice for traps as well. It always sucks fly winging into a large mob in Magma Dungeon only to realize you have no traps left.

i'd like to see any item hotkeyable, it's such a pain in the ass when i go hunting for etc items and i have to constantly change tabs to see how many of whatever item i've collected every few minutes. several quests require collection of items in quantities that can be expressed as thousands, atleast let me watch the numbers build as i go.

How about they just change those two barely used 'mouse button' tabs to be able to show items?

Oh wow. :> Lots of agreement!

xD But some clarification for my original post; I totally went from catalyst to misc items. lol. I should have said misc items in the beginning. I'm totally for more random items in the hotkey bar or the little two slot mouse bar-thing! Hell, why not make a little separate hoykey bar for misc stuff! That would be cool. Like, you could put it in a nice little away spot and keep track of your misc items without leaving an annoying window open!
