Iv'e been playing this game on and off (mostly off) since before comodo and 2-2 classes even came out. For some reason it's the only mmo that can draw me in every once and a while. Throughout my time playing iv'e solo'd probably 90% of the time, with the only exception being partying in the lower levels. Iv'e never really gotten involved in a good guild and was wondering if being in one really adds to the game in any way. I never took WoE seriously because with my gears (not bad but not godly) I probably will die very fast. I was thinking of either quitting, starting a guild on ygg or joining one on valk. Any suggestions?

You always have someone to talk to while in a guild. =P In addition, a lot of the time you then have access to parties, guild items, guild brewer, etc...

So really, you don't LOSE anything by being in a guild. xD Unless you don't want to WoE and they require it.

Guilds definitely help a lot in my opinion and there's a lot of non-woe guilds out there that do stuff together just for funC:

It's nice to have someone to go to for help and just talk to:P

A guild can either give you a fun and friendly atmosphere to complement the game, or it can be a steaming pile of B) and make you angry you ever met those people.

I recommend staying out of one if you dislike drama. If you find two or three friends you can level and do stuff with, you'll find that much more satisfying.

Yes, unless you bot, there is nothing better than grinding while chatting about stupid stuff with your guildies.

No reason not to be in one. Lots of good ones out there to choose from too. Avoid Valkyrie Players Guild though... they suck.

It's nice being in aguild. Especially social ones. I think my best guild moment was when the guild leader set up 1 male/female of the evening to meet eachother in real life. We sent someone to see the outcome. It was fun B)

I've been with my guild for 2 years now. Most members have come and gone (for various reasons) but there are those few regulars that stick around that make the game so much more enjoyable. Check out the guild recruiting section of the forums. You might find one you like : )

I totally agree with this. Even if you're in a guild with a bunch of friends, there's always that few that can give you the ;) feeling and sometimes to the point of /ragequit. It is nice to have someone to talk to (active guilds), but that depends too if they'll only see you as the "annoying guy" or "the fun guy".

Adjustments~ Adjustments~ (^_^)
