So.. most don't guess it, since rogue and warrior get ability's to add accuracy but.. its useless as melee, only effects range...
Also in light of this, is evasion useful? or does it only scale off accuracy, like ur accuracy divided by evasion = chance to evade or something like that..... Is it even worth getting?

just to correct you all melee (physical classes) have useless acuracy buff

omg i cant believe ppl still debating on this let me spare u quickly
i once had over 10k acc due to max commi buff and it didnt change a thing
there is no sure hit mechanism in this game so not worth ur trouble/10 skill points and definitly not 5 dna points
only reason some commis put on those buffs is
A)they must have 1 fighting will as a filler for quick atk
B)the think they can still arrange their buffs with adamant mind in a way soccer kick wont remove it

well all legit commis know its now random
so realy no point in taking an acc buff
if u are indeed a commi let me give u this advice if u do want to bet on 11 buffs against soccer kick at lvl 74+ in a silly 1 on 1 duel then just kill those ghouls in alban for their buff item and use it not worth ur skill point
and in a group pvp like FOC/IM or svs/TB most likly that a sin wont choose u as his target anyway

so to keep it short forget there is such as acc in this game

as for eva....well i heard so many things about its function.....i rather not talk about it at all...i can just say defense>eva

i once had on my defi like 13 k evasion and let me say it was damn ok..u evade lots of attacks...but i prefer defense more its more usefull in high lvls

no true , i had 7 or 8 k accuracy at my Sin and i missed often im raids, then i added some and had with buff 11k or 12k and i missed much less. accuracy works if its much.

and about evasion, its nice. i know some defilers with 23k or 30k eva and they solo aoe many mobs with low hp because they evade most attacks

there are theories about acc working on long range atks more rather then on melee mako so yea maybe with 3k-4k more acc u missed less
however that wont change the fact that putting 10 skill points for about 900 acc is a bad move for rogues/defenders/warriors/hunters
those that look for a small "boost" of acc can kill those spiders or ghouls forgot which to get the +2470 acc item buff

as for eva id say its weird cuz i did hit a bob with 22k eva just fine and nvr missed on him more then 1hit i think so i dont know if acc works against it
or just eva dont work well in pvp

as for pve...maybe there is something to it for defis/domis ...for SRs....might be a waste of points to

ya 10 skillpoints for that buffs would be a waste. i dont grind my Sin and maxd that buff at last free skillreset , enchantd the armor with acc and made a 65 xbow +23 for lots of accuracy cause i use that char as my 2nd raid dps only

acc effects melee. if effects all AA. but only AA. and no, dont stack evasion. both acc and evasion need a LARGE gain for a small improvement, and ONLY for auto attacks.

it is also neglected for pvp, after testing no values make a difference.

For skills, your skill level and character level matter more.

For evasion, I have noticed that when fighting mobs using evasion buffs help you from getting hit more often (and usually get hit for less HP), when doing pvp though screw the evasion it doesn't do anything worth mentioning and defense is the way to go.

In pvp, evasion will save u from Rangers bullets

24k evasion with my pve gear and i'm convinced it works, despite what people say.

agreed with Krimmy. 12k evasion and rangers still 1-3 hit kill me...
