El Dicastes Dungeon

I know that we're in an experience event, but I realized that even if I'm not doing the turn-in quest, leveling in Kamidal Mountain normally (in a party of 2~5 on share) is really quite good. The exp gain isn't ludicrously fast, nor is it painstakingly slow, it's a combination that makes me want to continue to level.

With that in mind, I propose you keep the exp gain for the El Dicastes Dungeon as is (as if it were influenced by the experience event). Seeing as the dungeon can only be accessed through a series of annoying quests (without the Eden Teleporter) it would be a nice escape from overcrowded places such as Magma Dungeon 2, Juperos, and places of the like where everyone and their mom brings in support alts.

I remember Heim specifically mentioned adjusting the spawns in Geffenia to cater to the event, but I wonder about the spawns in Scaraba Hole as well. It seems like there's way more spawns in there than before the event started. This in my opinion is a good thing and should be kept the way it is now even after the event if the spawns were indeed changed.

Floor 2 also seems like a great place for 140+ individuals in a large share party. I've heard of quite a few people getting close to 150 over there ever since the 2x exp event started. So even if Floor 1 is changed back, Floor 2's still an option for many high level people to go to. As such, I wouldn't mind either way.

You should see 12 man dps scaraba 2 partys. Thats scary fast exp.

I am referring to the experience per monster kill, not the monster spawn rate. Nor am I asking for crazy fast exp, I just want a place where I can go and level with a killer (as I'm a full support Arch Bishop) and not be punished for being a FS AB. At the level I'm currently at, I'm getting maybe 10% per hour two-manning it with a Shadow Chaser. 5% per hour, I'd be discouraged, and any more would seem too much.

These turn in events are nice, don't get me wrong, but when the exp event leaves, it would be great to have a place to level on the off hours of the turn ins and for people who didn't quite make the level cut from the previous turn in.

I would appreciate an GM response to this idea. =]

That's exactly what Floor 2 is like though. Great exp per kill. So even if the event left, I'd suggest trying out Floor 2 in a large share party. The mobs aren't great, but the exp from each kill is pretty rewarding. Monster spawn rate is just as much of a factor with leveling speed though. Even if monsters gave less exp per kill, the mobs would make up for it. All the more reason to tag along with an FS AB if it's a class like a Genetic or Warlock if the mobs get big.

I would like it if, at least for VIP, the Turnin Quest NPC would continue warping to the 3 dungeons even if the quest timer isn't up.

expect alot of ks. ive been there for just 30min and this party keep ksing me. too bad next maintenance the mob and exp will reduce by half but i really like the way it is now

There is supposed to be an official kRO instance called Scaraba hell that is a mobbier version of the scaraba hall with tougher, higher exp versions of the scarabas. that alone will be worth 12-person parties, without further iRO customizations. Let's just leave this one alone, guys.

Agreed. It just leaves room for more people to mob all the scarabs across the map. I'd rather keep it the way it was.

yo i saw the spawn rate before the x2 spawn was put in on lv1 and 2. Looked pathetic

Not sure what you're talking about as you need to mob to level effectively. People are still going to mob all the monsters on the map, increasing the spawn only makes it where more people can do it.

Did you go down there before the 2x spawn event? It was pathetic.

I was not aware that there was going to be a new dungeon implemented. Although, generally speaking, iRO kind of messes with all of the Korean implements, so maybe you wouldn't want to bank on the same dungeon experience as kRO. In all honesty I don't care about what might be implemented a few months from now. The idea is that what gravity has now for the various events is what I believe grinding should be.

Turn in event aside, the exp from the monsters is enough to keep me coming back, using manuals, and partying with people, which as a corporation and GM's should care about -- Making money and keeping their players happy.

There are various maps where they really only benefit a few types of classes or don't motivate actual partying, more so leeching. I feel as though this map people are more likely to interact with one another. So I really don't care that there is going to be another map to do the same thing, when really there should be more maps so it isn't so far stretched.

if OP's point was that scarab's feels like a decent rate for leveling, even in a small party, then I agree. Without the spawn increase, & the current xp boost, I expect it will be much less appealing, so I would also agree that the GM's should take note of the things they did well with this map, & either give it a permanent spawn & xp boost, or provide a special dungeon w/ similar characteristics.
