Hi there,

Well, the title says it all, is it possible for a Druid solo Ksiphon?
Using DG form, skill tree oriented to tank/phy dmg, i don't know.

Just wondering if it is possible.

probably not cause no heals.
or yes with mall/event pots but then its maybe not worth it.
(but i dont know much about druids)

well DG got small heal with no good CD
if you extra Pot with the event Water/Pots its possible
but wonder about the Time mby up to +30min

just on a Sidenote Ksiphon is blue Boss..
the Other Red one can Stun you wont matter if DG on or not
just if you not already know.

oh , didnt know about that heal.

most 65 armors/weapons are not worth much (at valdes) , would it still be worth it if you spam event water/pots ?

and you would probable need toons of it.

If you are soloing you would use inferno. Irregardless of your gears you wouldn't be able to solo DS bosses due to lack of heals. If you wanna gear farm play an aoe such as mystic or defiler and get a radiant to duo with.

Ok, i'm building up a druid and i wanted to try it out, but i get the point.

Well, let's see what this class has to offer besides tanking abilities.

well then mob kill is slower unless you bug and skip mobs which is lame

lol a good mystic can solo DS bosses without pots between defense totem and 4 heals, for mine Ksiphon is ~5 minutes and roundel takes about ~10 due to friggin stuns interrupting all my aoe casts

you can run thru the upper corridor before they attack you, and then just clear middle mobs which will take 1 min

lol and what level is this mystic of yours, because i doubt this guy is going to cap a character and make great gears just to farm DS.

Maybe it's possible kiting it in BM form using dash and your heals, dunno. CBA to try, would take hours!

As far as druid's tanking abilities go.. Well you can get enough HP and def to tank most things, especially with the Fascination set. The problem is with the taunt - its cooldown is way too long. Even if you get a headstart to build aggro it is lost very quickly with a half-decent party.

Not saying it's impossible with a druid, I've tanked RH and biskra a couple of times. But it wasn't long before I transferred my tanking gear back to my prot.

There are 2 extremes of building an offensive druid - glorified battle magician with defence and dashes, or inferno-based melee.

I'm currently trying a hybrid caster/inferno/tank build around the FOC set and ID jewels, but unless I spend a few hundred $ it's never gonna work that well. Just not enough skill points and too much compromise on equipment to do every role.

IMO, druids' strength lies with their survivability - high defence, dashes, lots of stuns, and a nice CON set at L72 (or L75 for caster build). They're never going to do the raw damage of other classes, but at end-game with Fascination set and Cry of Will buff it's possible to get high crit rate and high CAD for Inferno builds.

Definitely my favourite class, pure fun to play, and IMO the only class in Req that requires any skill (mb why mine sucks..). But it needs a lot of investment in time, effort and ultimately mall points to get it comparable with other classes.

79 and i do in fact farm ds, why bother buying 65 weapons and armor pieces when you can just get them for free

i doubt it works well with only DG form, cuz of the crappy heal CD on the heal. If u dash, use bm heals and do it that way.. it works ^^
