I don't agree with another path since what they have done makes you have to actually explore to get to zant. What I do agree with you is the silly Uturn, I think the map looks great now but I don't no why it does a U turn. Also AP isn't a completely new map, They only changed the starting area and moved a few things around, it just looks more or less the same as before apart from the little changes. Thats all they have done with Luxem tower. They won't completely change every map to a whole new design...

Yeah, I wouldn't give them too much credit for the AP map. Just looks like a combo cut and paste of both old ap and evo ap.

So far, interesting. However i was unable to cart into Luxum from zant. i had to uncart, and walk thru. Also apparantly some of the quests have required levels, as my 220 was offered a quest from the stranded resident, that wasnt offered to my level 14.

agree about the smiths shoppe, put something in it! and put some ammo into the weapon shop too! dont remember if a shop offered appraisal but that would be good too.

it would be nice if the livestock farmer here offered pet capsules (but more than 1 as a reward) as its sad that pets have been removed from the drop tables all together. wants a "'lost' wooly mammoth" pet to walk thru the streets of junon, stomping on shops and crune.

as for adv plains, i much prefered the evo one. and the fields of choropies and red jellys / kings. spotted choropies would be nice, again so that low level artis could actually farm limpid skins and make glasses (yep- broken record). remembers lots of clan arti parties hanging out at spotted choropies over and over on farming noobs thru level 20 for that purpose.

EDIT: i take it back pomics now drop limpid skins.!! awsome!

carting thru gate from luxum back to adv plains: (wound up quite into the red/pink area, tried to backtrack then uncart. that landed me, more or less in adv plains.)

Where are the elder Pumkins for the epidemic story line quest? They seem to not be on any of the maps anymore.

I went to explore the whole world... well, not really the whole, just the recently changed zones such as AP, but I found no sign of Elder Pumpkins so they are officially missing!




While exploring, I found this pretty cool area with a campfire and a water fall at the south-eastern corner of the map although, the campfire isn't included in this pic, you can still see the smoke.

Its a nice area, should of been used for more then Screenshots The Quest where the neckalce was stolen by pomics.. Maybe the pomic could be hiding in there that stole it! Thing is most people won't see that nice little place

have to say that overall, the map is good. however that path that leads up to/ down from the ap/luxum gate is annoyingly a royal pain!!! wish we had a simple, straight thru walk.

everything else is enjoyable here tho. i think a great intro for new players.

Just like the last time with Adventurer's Plains I am making a feedback thread for the Valley of the Luxem Tower.


What's good

• I liked how we can chose rewards for some of the quests, but they options seem to have incorrect stat information about the items.
  This issue has been corrected and will be applied to the next available patch.

What's bad

• Returning a bit to Adventurer's Plains: The hawker trainer now sells bow and the dealer trainer sells gun, but neither of them sells arrows or bullets. Fail.
  This issue was corrected in the v.349 Patch.
• When I finish Morgan's quest he just leaves me to rot and doesn't tell where's next... Not like I wouldn't know, but not every newcomer is so smart!
  Morgan offers the Village Exploration quest, either immediately after turning in the Missing Cart Parts quest, or if you speak to him again after having completed the Missing Cart Parts quest.
• It would be nice if quests like the 'Small Start' quest would show a popup message when the item is found. In theory, one could beat mobs for an eternity without noticing that they found the item ages ago.
  This suggestion would apply to most, if not all quests and is something we'd like to address in the future.
• Movement speed is still so slow. Makes me want to sleep at times.
  This is something the Dev Team is very much aware of and are working out possible ways to improve the speed and overall feel/enjoyment regarding movement.

Suggestions

• We seriously need a quest objective tracker. Having that stupidly huge quest window open all the time is bad.
  Agreed and this is something that we'd love to make available over time.

The next rewamped zone is probably Zant. Hope they don't change this specific zone too much as this is one of my favorite zones.

Back to the topic though, there's a small mistake that was made after revamping the Valley of Luxem Tower map:

I think they'll change that when they redo breezy hills geddeh (if they go by placement should be like one or two maps from now~)
